That's just not true regarding talent in the Archer era. Curley was the worst thing for LSU EVERRRR. I played for both.

A team that looks like they simply did not have enough reps in fall camp. All three phases did not look game ready. I appreciate not wearing out their legs in camp, but at the same time there has to be enough reps for cohesion.

Several things:
1. Football(especially o line) is a game that requires lower body strength. He has small legs relative to his body. That doesn't necessarily mean his lower body isn't strong but it wouldn't surprise me if that's an issue.
2. Out of shape/fat.
