Would be interesting if LSU WRs played against Bama WRs but they don't. So...

Of course we say “We” when talking about our favorite team. That’s not the point. The point is that you implied that us fans talking about individual success of players as a freindly conversation was the problem with our actual football team, which is just dumb.

The discipline that Coach Saban has instilled in the Bama fans to only be focused on the team is quite impressive, though. Congrats on avoiding the rat poison.

Some branches of the military obviously have more free time than others.

Anyway you still did not answer my question. Which LSU WR gets on the field over Jeudy, Ruggs, and Smith?

‘Rational’... Lol

What wasn't rational about the OP? It was all factual information and there was nothing said one way or the other about either team. It just pointed out an interesting point about how close the stats with the 2 units are.

It became irrational when the sister frickers showed up and couldn't handle someone posting facts that showed that someone else might be good at football too.

And no one in here has implied such. It was just a post showing how close the units are. There was no comparison....

You see, that's y'alls problem. You always focus on individuals and not the team. We don't care how well your individual players are doing. We don't care how our own individual players are doing. We care about winning games

It’s clear as day right there, man, but continue to see what you want to see.

I wish you good fortune in Saturday’s game. Don’t get yourself hurt out on the field. Those are some large world class athletes out there. Be careful.

Ugh.

We all have free time on deployments. Stop with this stupid bullshite.

Marshall, Chase and Jefferson are exactly what LSU needs to run their offense. Comparing them, and expecting someone to say who is better, when they play in different schemes is fricking stupid.

Who gives a shite? They aren't competing directly against one another.

You did an admirable job, too.

However:

Bama fans came in here and started bitching

This all started from the first response to your post:

quote:

Yea bama fans seem to think our receivers arent near the caliber as theirs but im tired of telling them its dang near a wash

You also got to factor in that Marshall missed 3 weeks. Those numbers could be a lot higher

Blame that a-hole for the thread going downhill. He started it.

I made a post earlier in the week about bama fans acting a lot different this year than in years past. A lot more defensive and a bit more touchy. It's been going on for about 3 weeks now. Even my wife has noticed it out in public. Strangers that see our shirts or jackets that feel the need to pop off with "Gonna make it 9!" Or "Y'all ready to lose in T-Town again?"

This thread is just more proof.

Yep, I was going there from maybe 2001 - 2011. After the regular season game in 2011- they made decision to kick all LSU fans off. I was always respectful on the board. I asked, “so let me get this straight Auburn and Tn etc are welcome but LSU fans aren’t - yep”

Still refusing to answer my question. Of course the answer is so simple it needs no response. No WR on LSU's roster would start at Bama. And every Bama WR mentioned would start at LSU.

How did that "start it"?

It's the truth. Anytime I've seen anyone try to show that the units are erily similar, its been met with "B's! None of them would ever sniff the field at bama!"

And that may be true, but I could say the same for the bama receivers and as this thread shows, the stats back me up.

The stats are close, and this is by far the most sound group of LSU WRs that have been there since I can remember. They don't drop the ball, they run good routes, they get good yac, and they block well. What more can you ask for??

As far as comparing LSU's to Bama's, idk? They are clearly producing the same or better, this year.

Our WRs have been showing out for 3 years now though(Waddle, 2), and just by looking at them on the field, I just can't say that I've seen a better WR unit in college football in quite some time.

I will just concede that both teams have a great WR units, and it will be fun to watch on Saturday.

This is off Alabama board from one of your fans:

Not to sound homerish but LSU's top 4 receivers are not in the same league as our top 4 receivers.

It's just not even close and one has legit Olympic level speed.

Man. That must be extremely painful for you. I mean, gosh dang, how should we respond to mean people on the internet that don't agree with us?

Obviously you've never been to Hattiesburg.

Old man sitting next to me at the barber shop was a Gump and couldn't quit talking about LSU...2 and a half weeks ago....

See, look how defensive you're getting. Over nothing.

And?

Do you want me to crucify him because he said something that may not be 100% accurate?
