re: Tyler Shough stats over the last three games.

This is the NFL. The Chiefs are 6-10. The Gap in the NFL isn't large enough for this to make that much of an impact...A little, sure why not, but not significant. The worst team in the NFL can be the best team on any given Sunday.
That is what the NFL has always been.

Just curious
Why use the stat 3 out of 4. We have won 3 in a row and lost two before that. You could have used 4 -2 in our last six games. Why throw in the arbitrary loss 4 games ago? what was the point?

Chase Young is so good. I love how he’s 491st in total tackles (an embarrassing 17 combined and paltry 9 solo),
While it is perfectly acceptable to dislike Chase Young based on your opinion. It's a little unfair to use a stats your gotcha moment.
For reference here are your top ten DE in tackles (from ESPN as of 12/23/2025)
99) Maxx Crosby (LV) 45 solo 28 assist (73) - 15 games
154) Leonard Williams (SEA) 25 solo 33 assist (59) - 15 games
155) Myles Garret (CLE) 41 solo 17 assist (58) - 15 games
177) Derrick Brown (CAR) 25 solo 29 assist (54) - 15 games
194) A'Shawn Robinson (CAR) 20 solo 31 assist (51) - 15-games
216) Danielle Hunter (HOU) 25 solo 23 assist (48) - 15 games
232) Demarcus Lawrence (SEA) 21 solo 25 assist (46) - 14 games
232) Carl Granderson (NO) 30 solo 16 assist (46) - 15 games
232) George Karlaftis (KC) 24 solo 22 assist (46) - 15 games
240) Will Anderson Jr. (HOU) 29 solo 16 assist (45) - 15 games
418) Chase Young (NO) 16 solo 12 assist (28) - 10 games
Now if you account for the same production in the 5 missed games that would put him around 24 solo 18 assist for 42 tackles around 268 over all Top 15 for DE in tackles. Now lets do sacks for DE
1) Myles Garret - 22 - 15 games
3) Danielle Hunter - 13 - 15 games
5) Micah Parsons - 12.5 - 14 games
7) Aidan Hutchinson - 11.5 - 15 games
7) Will Anderson jr - 11.5 - 15 games
11) Maxx Crosby - 10 -15 games
12) Montez Sweat - 9.5 - 15 games
15) Cam Jordan - 8.5 - 15 games
18) Will McDonald - 8 - 15 games
20) John Franklin-Myers - 7.5 - 15 games
24) Chase Young - 7 - 10 games. If you account for the 5 games missed with the same production that would be 10.5 sacks putting him top 5 in DE and top ten overall.
Right now according to over the cap Chase Young is the 22 highest paid DE in the NFL. When healthy you are getting value well above that contract.
His problem isn't stats or play. It's his injury history. It's always been his injury history. If you are going to come bitching about a player at least bring the right ammo.

but I believe we NOW currently have the 10th pick that will move to top 13-16 pick (or higher) if they win 2 more games.
The normal player names we’ve been hearing the last few weeks won’t be available at 13-16.
I honestly don't give a shite. I went from not even wanting to turn on the tv to watch them, to getting excited to watch Shough progress every week.
My Saints group chat is more active. My brother and I are talking about which games we want to go to next year. This is way more fun, this is why I love this team. I don't give a flying frick about our draft position. Let it fly Shucky Ducky.
re: What’s the most pain you ever felt?
Posted by mindbreaker on 12/19/25 at 11:44 am to LSUTANGERINE
Severe pains I have suffered from over the years that stick out
Gallbladder rupture from gallstones
Kidney Stones
Torn ACL
Pulled muscles any hurt like a bitch
Cluster Headaches to the point of vomiting from the pain
Gout flare ups
But nothing tops the time i had an abscess tooth. They couldn't deaden it because a puss pocket had formed around the nerve so they had to just snap the nerve with no treatment. The only time i have ever had tears uncontrollably stream down my face from pain. I wasn't even like boohoo crying just water was leaking down my face with no expression and i couldn't move for 5 minutes.

Happy, I have nothing against the broncos and Payton gave us the best stretch in Saints history. I hope he does well and he is happy there. But if they ever play the saints F-him F-them and F-their couch. Other than that good for him.

Assuming we stay with a top ten pick which looks likely. Lets Go down the list
Offense
QB - Shough looks like the guy
RB - Kamara is showing his age, Neal looks promising. Only one prospect that high but not sure we go there
WR - Olave isn't the guy that's obvious, Vele has looked better in last few games. think this could be a target
OT - Set if Fuaga is your RT going forward, if the intent is to move Fuaga inside big need and a possibility
OG - Big need but reach in the first round.
C - Set with McCoy
TE - Juwan Looks a lot better this year. But may need an upgrade don't think its a top ten option.
Defense
Interior Line - Godchaux is okay but still don't think there is a NT you target in top of draft
DE - Cam has to be replaced eventually. Breese is solid
Edge - Chase has looked awesome but that injury history. Granderson looks to have taken a step back
ILB - Demario can't play forever, Werner is solid but not great.
CB Koolaid and Taylor are just fine. Unless you want to move Taylor back to nickel back
Safety - Set, Sanker looks to be a steal and Reid is solid
I would put it like this depending on who's available when we pick
OT - (If you plan on moving Fuaga) Fano-Utah, Mauigoa-Miami
DE - (Cam eventually needs a replacement) Woods-Clemson
ILB - Arvell Reese
WR - Tyson-Arizona State, Tate-Ohio State Slight reach on both but WR is a premium Position
Maybe
Edge - Bain-Miami, Faulk-Auburn, Bailey-Texas Tech
CB - Delanne-LSU highest ranked but might be a reach in the top ten
Huge Maybe
RB - Only Jeremiyah Love-ND Ranked as a top 5 prospect on every board but premium on RBs is not what it used to be.
TE - Only Sadiq from Oregon but probably a huge reach in top ten

For me how is it not the Princess Bride. To this day it is the only movie that has ever done nearly every genre you could want in one movie
Fantasy
Romance
Action
Drama
Suspense
Comedy
Horror
Princess Bride has all of that and does it well. Accompany that with a Fantastic cast. Just hard to beat. It's not my personal favorite, but that is just a personal preference. I do think it's the closest anyone has ever gotten to a perfect movie. Even now thinking on it I can't think of one scene that I can criticize.

By that logic
Since Brees left we have had a
Jameis Winston era (9 Starts)
Andy Dalton era (14 Starts)
Trevor Siemian era (4 Starts)
Taysom Hill era (9 Starts)
Not sure what you are getting at. He didn't have a good cast of WR, He did have a shite O-line. Those things still exist right now.

Literally no one said this. I heard "Not sure if Shough would be better with this team" which is completely reasonable thing to say about a 2nd round QB with an injury history. Quit trying to sweep up drama where there is none.
Enjoy the ride man. Shough is better than most everyone not named Kellen Moore thought. He is 3-3 and it looks like we don't have to reach for a QB at the top of this coming draft. These are all good things who cares what anyone said about Rattler.

They have already decided to live outside the law and you think they have political affiliations?

Yes I have as have you it's not uncommon. Come on man this is exactly what I'm talking about. You are arguing with me to paint your beliefs as the superior one. When challenged with it your solution is to deny deny deny. Even if I was to go find these examples your next step would be to get into a semantics war over it.
and that is why we are here. too many people have dug their heels in and are going "Me good, Them bad" on both sides of the aisle and it has further widened the crack.
There is no one side better than the other. Everyone group/religion/political party has a range from really good stand up people all the way to dangerous radicals. None are immune to it. Let's try to stop hating each other because we think we are 100% right about our beliefs. We are all just trying to survive and do our best at the end of the day. we can do it without hate.
