LSU has been involved in 3 shootouts while Alabama's focus has been on shortening games. Different focus on games for each team.

Clearly Burrow isn't A LOT better than Tua, but is he better? Maybe? I think that Tua is more naturally gifted, but that doesn't necessarily make him a better QB.
Its hard to argue that LSU's scheme isn't the best in the nation, with the drastic turnaround from what it was last season, with the same players. Bama's isn't far behind. It could be a mix between Burrow being really good and the scheme being really good, and LSU's WRs just being very fundamentally sound and not dropping balls.
and lets not forget that Tua has missed a game and a half, and the WRs didn't really miss a beat in that time. Would LSU's WRs miss a beat if Burrow was out a game and a half, and they had Brennan throwing the ball to them? I really don't know.

Bama's receivers do have a hell of lot more YAC, which is impressive. However, it also makes Tua not as impressive.
