If I could see the future my answer would vary. If I knew a single loss would keep Bama from the CFP, I dont care who is playing QB as long as we win. If Tua being out would be Mulligan x 2, then I'd rather beat Bama with him.

it is going to take some Iowa State upsetting Okie Lite type of help given the field right now: but, Bama will likely squeak into the CFPs if Bama loses to LSU with an injured/missing Tua and then runs the table... especially if a healthy Tua gets back for the IB and blows out a decent Auburn D.

Things are as they are. With a healthy Tua running the offense, Bama is among the top 3 in the country.

But, it is now a 2 horse race between Burrow and Hurts for the Heisman. So, there is that.

If Clemson, Ohio St ad OU run the table, the SEC is only getting in one team. So at the end of the day, i'd rather gamble on that happening and my guys getting a W no matter what, than us beating a healthy Tua.

I just want the W.

The loudest Tiger Stadium got during the Bama game last year was when Tua went down with an injury.

Well that's just not true, why lie when half of this board was likely at that game?

Typical thread.

If you say you want him 100%- "You are lying."

If you say you hope is doesn't play- "You are an arse for hoping he is out."

Like 3 star Mac Jones.
Saban is the GOAT coach. That should make up the difference with his coaching. Plus he had Hurts and has Tua's brother.

Both teams have fantastic QB's and the game will be more enjoyable of both are 100%. There is consensus.

I'm sure Bama fans were sad that Devin White was out for the 1st half of the game last year, right?

I don't care either way. Some LSU fans seem to think that LSU will earn more respect if he plays and LSU wins. I doubt it will matter, because people will still make excuses for Alabama regardless. I think LSU obviously has a better chance to win if he is unable to play, but this LSU team is good enough to beat them with or without him.

I’ll take a win no matter what, but what I REALLY don’t want is to have to play Alabama a second time in the playoffs. I KNOW that if we beat Bama without Tua, and Bama wins out, Bama will be in the playoffs. The media will grant them that magic mulligan which, if the roles were reversed, LSU would never get.

I don’t want to just beat Alabama. I want LSU to win the Western Division, win the SEC Title, and go to the playoffs while Alabama slinks off to a comfy bowl game, eliminated from playoff contention.

They were a completely different team offensively without McCoy

They put up 6 points on 2 drives that both started on ~Bama’s 30 yard line

Colt McCoy wasn’t gonna stop Bama from running at will

Yeah, I want to see the clash of the titans. The #1 and #2 teams with the #1 and #2 heisman candidates going at it. That’s a stupid good matchup and you’re not a true football fan if you wouldn’t want to see that.

I can assure you Burrow won't be 100% after Derrick Brown

Most of college football is not looking forward to the Bama mulligan which will inevitably happen.
