I hope I am wrong, but that rarely happens. The fricking longhorns will destroy LSU. It will be over in the first half.

I think Texas will come out with a lot of emotion and it’s just critical for LSU to weather that and then I think they will control the game if they don’t fall behind early.

The LSU defense won't know how to operate without Tyrann Mathieu, Eric Reid, Patrick Peterson, Morris Claiborne, Kelvin Shepard, Kwon Alexander, Debo Jones, wait a minute.

It will be interesting to see if LSU has to spy Ehlinger, or not. If you can't replace White with Jacob Phillips, Patrick Queen, Donte Starks, Micah Baskerville, Kendall McCallum, Damone Clark, Carlton Smith, Hunter Faust, Jared Small, Aaron Benfield, Tayte Landley, or Cade Seymour; you might be screwed! That's a lot of talent.

Your attempts to emotionally hedge against a victory for Texas by predicting it aren’t working. No one takes you seriously.

I believe it’s going to be a very close game. I give us the edge on coaching and LSU the edge on proven talent, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. I think the current line on the game (LSU favored by 3) is appropriate.

You really think LSU will have a problem stopping Sam? If LSU can't spy the backyard scramble master, then sure; maybe that will make it a good game.

Don’t forget Michael Divinity. They are using him in the middle more rather than bring him off the field in nickel packages like previous years. Hoping the senior makes himself some serious money this year increasing his draft stock

It's news that LSU will struggle with a Top 10-12 team in the opening game?

Your terrible defense couldn't stop him. Although I am positive LSU will do a much better job of it than Georgia did.

I'd love to hear what wild assumptions you can make based on a single post stating the your defense couldn't stop Elinger.

I don't think so. LSU is approaching this game like a loser.

I kinda hope they get smashed so we can laugh at them.
