LSU will struggle against Texas

I'm a huge LSU fan. But watch the Sugar Bowl again. LSU and Texas have similar game styles this year, except on defense. On offense, both have clutch arse quarterbacks with Ehlinger and Burrow. Chase, Marshall, and Jefferson will be huge for our WRs.
LSU's defense will be preseason favorite for this game. It's such an overused quote, but: how are they going to do: LSU does not know how this defense will operate without D. White and Greedy. I've been proven wrong before. LSU's defense years in and out have proven me wrong before.
What is the SEC rant's picks on this game?

We win, but it's an early season game on the road. Offense still developing.... but if our D can get some turnovers, we may win comfortably.

Sam Ehlinger is a tough and savvy QB. I had my doubts about what Tom Hermann would do there but he's inching Texas towards the top of the Big 12 and, I believe they are ready to compete with OU for the league title.

Yes Texas looked good in the Sugar Bowl
Yes Sam Ehlinger is good
I don't think you should predicate seasons off of the bowl
game. It will likely be close for most of the game because most teams struggle out the gate first game.

The defense will operate the same way it did before White and Greedy. It’s plug and play fool. LSU didn’t stop recruiting big time players at LB and CB after White and Greedy signed

Austin and UT will be pumped for this game. I was at the USC @ UT game last year and the whole city was rocking (we went for a bachelor trip, not for the game).
UT will be no slouch, and it will be a good game. I expect an early game slug fest. I believe LSU will take an advantage in the second half. 27-24 LSU

The longhorns will probably win by at least 20 points only because of a few garbage time LSU scores.

It's a road game against a team that won the Sugar Bowl last year. Yes, it will be a tough game. But with Chaisson back, I think our defense will be up to the task. We lost White, but we are returning Philips, Chaisson, Divinity, Lawrence, Deplit, Stevens, our pass rush will be insane.

I know its not going to be popular but in my opinion Greedy was overrated and really dropped off last year.He wont be missed to much

LSU bringing everybody back on offense that was starting to pick up and get better the last four games , Texas losing eight on defense. I’ll take LSU for 1000 Alex!

Already making excuses. If Lsu wants to actually contend this year, they need to blow tu out of the water. Short of that they'll be back in 3rd place in the west for the 4th year in a row.

LSU thinks this game will be a cake walk while the fricking longhorns cirled this game on the calendar years ago.
