We dont need the academics thus we'll have better talent. Crush that kind of schedule and still woop the SEC (if they make it) in the final Good day baws.

When was the last time SEC membership was necessary to play in a college football championship?

You would be completely done and dead. Would join Big 12 most likely anyways.

LSU is not bigger than the SEC, they are not Notre Dame.. regional draw in a great conference.

Even Notre Dame had to join the ACC for sports other than baseball. It’s very difficult to schedule basketball, baseball, and the other sports as a pure independent.

Do they not realize they will lose millions if they get kicked out of the conference? The conference will just bring in the North Carolina markets to offset the loss of LSU money. LSU will lose a ton

I’m sure Disney is thrilled paying for night games at Chapel Hill lmao

What brings in the money is the matchup, not just the fact it's a night game in LSU. Yes, bringing in a state twice as big as Louisiana with a GDP 3 times as big and much bigger cities would counteract anything LSU brings.

Notre dame has been a national brand for forever. LSU is a great program but they can't survive without a conference

You think that only people from Louisiana tune in for LSU games? I live in Texas, Dallas and Houston have big LSU fan bases along with most of east Texas towns. Nobody gives a shite about a match up with UNC on a football field.

Delusional sums it up. They think they can be the next Notre Dame...

That would be a valid point if other conferences weren't even more pissed at this whole thing than the SEC even. LSU would be playing SWAC teams for several years at least
SEC is going overboard, but LSU is being completely on-brand delusional about their leverage

Your team is mid and has been for 5 years in a row
Posted on 9/8/26 at 11:32 am to DatGuy6967
You would lose $75 million in the blink of an eye.

Georgia hasn’t been relevant since Stetson bud. You retards have spent the past 10 months talking about LSU, nobody brings up UGA
Posted on 9/8/26 at 11:46 am to DatGuy6967
You never had academics
Posted on 9/8/26 at 11:47 am to DatGuy6967
LSU had a deficit with th current payout and you think they will thrive without it lol…. everyone knows LSU is broke … Lane will get fired soon …. that might be the end of this for a while .
