No matter how look at it, that is horrendous. What are the chances of this even happening? There's basically nothing to cheer for.

Ole Miss is the superior athletics program! No doubt about it.

It has been interesting to watch Ole Miss ascend to a better than average athletic program all while watching LSU cratering to become one of the 3 worst athletic programs in the SEC.

It was so bad it was basically a state emergency where our governor had to step in. To say we cleaned house doesnt do it justice. Kelly, McMahon, and the man responsible for their hiring (and retention) were all canned. (Johnson of course gets a pass bc he has trophies in the case.) But it wasn't just them - a new President, Chancellor, and BOS chairman were brought in.

So I don't view this thread as the insult you think it is. Had nothing been done it would be. But we believe necessary steps were taken and our program is pointed in the right direction.

Not sure what there is to discuss. LSU had a rough year in football, basketball, and baseball. The football and basketball coaches were fired and replaced, which is pretty much what happens when a program has that kind of season. Baseball will be fine in the long run. Other than that, I don't know what else can really be said.

LSU won their series' with Kentucky and Tennessee, and both of those had a winning record

Not in conference play.

Tennessee: 15-15
Kentucky: 13-17

You can tell he is talking about conference play from the total number of games. LSU played a lot more than 21 games against teams with an overall winning record. But against SEC teams with a winning record in conference play LSU won 1 game total in football, basketball and baseball.

Lmao

Check back in a few years buddy. LSU will probably have another baseball natty, and be a perennial post season team in both basketball and football.

We know you will. You’re obsessed with LSU. I get your football team is on a sinking ship with DeBoner and your other sports haven’t won literally anything, but the obsession really isn’t healthy.

Ole Miss made the football playoff and advanced to the semifinals. Made the baseball tournament and has advanced to Omaha.

Their fans constantly talk about LSU instead of their own school's success. Seems pretty insecure to me.

As for discussing LSU, they replaced the football and basketball coaches to address that issue. Baseball was a flop this year, but since thr coach has won 2 of the past 3 national titles, he's earned the chance to fix it.

Now do current coaches at each program

Kiffin > DeBoner
tPear < Oats
Johnson > Vaughn

LSU - 2 natties
Bama - 0 natties

It's interesting how Alabama fans don't want to talk about the past when discussing LSU, but constantly bring up the past when speaking of their own success.

Kiffin > DeBoner

Kiffin has zero P4 conference championships, championship game appearances, or CFP appearances in 11 seasons as a P4 coach. He has a 69.2% winning percentage as a P4 head coach.

Deboer has 1 P4 conference championship, 2 P4 championship game appearances, 2 CFP appearances, and 2 CFP victories in 4 seasons as a P4 coach. He has an 80.4% winning percentage as a P4 headcoach.

No rational unbiased human can look at that and argue Kiffin is a better coach than Deboer.
