Have they caught the other shooter from the most recent mall shooting yet?

We took a worse team with a worse HC & OC in there last year and lost by 5 to a better team and better HC & OC than they will have this year. We should be the favorites.

Every country has the right to pursue nuclear weapons.
Every country has the right to try and stop other countries from getting them.
Yet we're the only country who looked at the intel and said we must act now. All the other countries who are actually closer to Iran and who are taking in more Muslims than we are declined to engage with us. Russia goes into Ukraine? Panic. They must send money to Ukraine. Iran is "weeks away from 11 nuclear warheads"? Gonna sit this one out.
Bc the intelligence was shite. We didn't go in for nukes. Our DNI even said our intelligence doesnt support the claim thst Iran is close to nukes just a month before suddenly it was imminent.

re: Are there any public schools in Baton Rouge that you would consider sending your kids to?

Never.
And I know there are some one off good schools here and there - I hear from people I like that they really enjoy Mayfair, but the thought of entrenching them into a school that is run by the people on the ebrpsb, and taught by teachers in the union - i'm out. Chances are if/when things go bad you sre stuck bc the wait list for the private schools is so long.

It was so bad it was basically a state emergency where our governor had to step in. To say we cleaned house doesnt do it justice. Kelly, McMahon, and the man responsible for their hiring (and retention) were all canned. (Johnson of course gets a pass bc he has trophies in the case.) But it wasn't just them - a new President, Chancellor, and BOS chairman were brought in.
So I don't view this thread as the insult you think it is. Had nothing been done it would be. But we believe necessary steps were taken and our program is pointed in the right direction.

It would be nice to add that trophy.
We're one of only a handful of teams that have qualified for the national champiopship the last 5 or 6 years. We're due!
Eta: also LSU golf swag has the best looking stuff on campus.

The OP thinks this is a gotcha but this is an incredibly misinformed post.
1. Over 130 members of congress have signed this exact pledge. But Massie was "revolutionary really". Here's who all have signed it in our current congress: LINK again, revolutionary, really.
2. The pledge says right there that he pledged to CO-SPONSOR the bill. Why is he being singled out for not doing more than he pledged? If 130 people pledge to sponsor a bill do you know what they're called?
3. No where in that pledge is there any promise to leave congress if term limits dont go into law. Why pretend like he made that promise?
If you really had shite against him you wouldnt have to make bullshite up.

I will say that Massie losing was clearly his own doing. No one worked harder to get him out of office than Thomas Massie. He simply stopped trying to do his job and represent his constituents and work within the framework of our political system to push his ideas and agendas forward. He chose to go on a self-destructive mission, that often times looked to be driven more by personal qualms than any sort of principles.

This link does not include Aipac since its not registered as a foreign lobby. That is the argument. That they have special permission.
You can search registrants on that link and Aipac comes back as no results found.

re: Prayers for former tiger Josh Smith
Posted by Beef Supreme on 5/17/26 at 9:08 pm to Tiger fan999
This sucks bad for him. The Rangers traded away Marcus Semien this year to open a spot for Smith to become their full time second baseman. He's been a utility player for them for the last 4 seasons and now he finally found his home. Started the year ice cold but hit .350 over his last 7 games before getting injured. His backup, Ezequiel Duran, is currently having his best start of his career hitting .270

It would be cool to not have to sacrifice dollars at the pump AND our boys at the front not have to sacrifice anything at all. But that will get downvoted no doubt.

GDP grew 0.5% in the 4Q of last year. Thats the worst 4Q in 14 years.
Unemployment is currently at its highest mark since Covid and well higher than it was pre-covid.
Housing sales remain at 30 year lows.
Inflation is back with a vengeance. We are printing money again. Or as we now call it "buying back debt".
