That's a pretty bold move to try and say they never actually fired him after making a FORMAL PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT to say they had fired him, and then playing an actual game of football in which he was not on the sideline. Are they being represented by Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe?

Well, this may be accurate.

LSU may end up being out a lot more than $54 Million if Kelly decides to sue for reputational damage after he was fired.

Hey we were told on the board that the LSU billionaires were paying this off out of their beer money.

They should scratch the P4 guys off their list.

The next LSU coach won’t be getting a 10 year contract worth $100,000,000

It will more than likely be a five year contract with performance incentives versus back loaded payouts that prevent a coach from leaving.

LSU has probably learned that it’s much cheaper to just let them leave versus promising huge contracts.

This was certainly a trademark of the Woodward era at both A&M and LSU.

Live and learn

How are they screwing this up worse than any other team looking for a new coach

Have you ever met a true Cajun LLLsu fan? I’ve said many times, the only ones I know personally cut my grass, they are dumb as a box of rocks, but hella edgers, and they can even do the little tuck job on my pine straw.

They gonna get him on a morality clause for doing an offensive Cajun accent

They also have video evidence of him grinding on young men. Some may have even been minors at the time.

My God. What a circus.

Any top coach would be nuts to take that job right now.

Will LSU offer another ten year/$100M contract to the next person?

This just shows how broke lsu actually is. Either the university doesn’t have the money so it’s relying on boosters to pay and the boosters are saying F BK take this to court thinking this is a business decision and an arena they can win (they likely won’t and even if they do the PR is a nightmare) or the university does have the money and lsu is a clown show. Could be both lol

Like I said in another thread... unfathomable to me that my shitshow of a home state could be run by lawyers and still frick this up this bad.

I'm not declaring Oklahoma the cradle of humanity or anything but Jesus Christ man.

Total amateur hour by LSU. The only thing that upsets me about this, though, is that LSU has somehow maneuvered this situation such that I am now rooting for Brian Kelly.

Didn't that was even possible, but LSU is making it happen.

It may be accurate that he never worked at LSU?

Buddy there might be a role for you on the general counsel, I think this kind of legal magic is alone enough to pass the Louisiana State Bar.

So now LSU will be on the hook for $54 million PLUS legal fees.

100% true. If I’m a prospective HC candidate, why would I FAFO with LSU?
