let's not take it that far. They were pretty mediocre in the Big 12, they probably would be also in the MAC. It's just who they are.

If we were in a better conference like the ACC or Big 12 it'd much much worse. Something closer to 100th. This is the worst defense in LSUs history and Clemson score 88 at minimum. Game is going to get ugly.

Va Tech had a solid run for a while around the Michael Vick era. Even managed to play for a National Championship.
A&M hasn't sniffed that since any of us has been alive. A&M is a special kind of mediocre. Va Tech is a much better program the last several decades.

You’re right LSU is the only team that gets better as the season goes on. A&M called timeout with 6 seconds to score on our third team.
