It was a good week for sure. Holman looked great. Good pop from lineup. Can’t speak for Rice or Bobcats, but our bullpen got a rude wake-up call this weekend.

Recent LSU National Championships have a familiar story line: Beating the Longhorns
2009 LSU baseball beats UT to win CWS
2019 LSU football beats UT in Austin and goes on to win Natty
2023 LSU baseball travels to Austin and shuts out UT on the way to a CWS

More opportunities to beat them starting next year

We had to play another school from Louisiana just to get some decent competition. Sad!

Didn’t LSU lose to Texas in basketball this season?

Wish we could have played Houston instead of ULL there as well. ULL had a rough weekend, also lost 2/3 to Rice the previous weekend (at home).

Might want to check the date on that. We're in 2024 now, IIRC.

Seems like you've avoided #4, #5, #17, & #24 in the last PG poll... all from Tejas.

Go beat that chest about some unranked or overrated teams.

What Heefner has built there with limited resources is downright impressive. Just to give you an idea of his success…

TOP 10 PROGRAMS BY WINS SINCE 2015
1. Florida (389)
2. LSU (373)
3. Vanderbilt (367)
4. Louisville (360)

6. Arkansas (355)
7. Oregon State (352)

ETA: They also had 8 kids drafted last year. That was tied for 4th most.
