Ohhhh. Poor buddy. You’ve only had 1 since the year 2000? You going to be okay? Should I call the Texas Network to come pick you up so you can feel relevant again?

Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State. Michigan, USC, and Notre Dame are the SIX True Bluebloods. Texas is not one of them!
And LSU took Notre Dame's winningest coach the last time they were in the market.

Right, because LSU has a much more impressive history.

Until Saban got things rolling, LSU was just another program. We’ll see if Lane can get it back on track and add to his lifetime achievements of …(checks notes) … two C-USA titles.

Why did we allow Texas in the SEC? They don’t fit at all.

Who decides who is a "Blue Blood"? Is there an official criteria to be met or some website I can look up to see who's on it?

You're right. Not a blue blood. But we're maybe the biggest brand in college sports at the moment. We're the school that churns out the most celebrity and most influence than any other school. Name another school with as many household names. Burrow, Daniels, Chase, Jefferson, Skenes, Bregman, Dunne, Reese.
Turn on the largest sports network in the world and our alumni are all over it repping us. Watch kids score a TD and they're doing the griddy.
We win championships across multiple sports.

We also are the only school in history that a coach ever left ND for. And he was their winningest coach of all time. It didnt work out, and you can chalk it up to whatever reason you would like but that statement is a fact. And now we just went to a rival and pulled their HC and offensive staff the day after they completed the greatest season in their school history and are preparing for the playoffs.
