"As it turns out, what I learned from that experience in hindsight was, it was a huge mistake to leave college football," Saban said. "And I know a lot of LSU fans think I left for whatever reasons, but I left because I wanted to be a pro coach, or thought I wanted to be a pro coach. We loved LSU. We worked hard to build the program. If there was one thing professionally that I would do over again, it would've been not to leave LSU."

Get the drift? Kelly just doesn't scare anybody ... he is an above average coach by every definable metric. He isn't elite.

Oh ok, thanks for that. Is A&M with Elmo supposed to be scary?

You suck in football, you're okay in baseball, and you're about to lose on your home court to LSU. Y'all btfo of us in male cheerleading though!

Saban wasn’t a dynasty at lsu you dumbfrick. He won one championship just like miles and orgeron. He got beat by fricking Iowa in his final game. Sabans true reign started at Bama. He became household at lsu but never had a dynasty because you have to win more than one to be a dynasty but you’re too stupid to know that.

LSU doesn’t need an elite coach to win it all. That is a proven fact. You are an Aggie so it is impossible for you to grasp.

if LSU put together the best season in CFB history under Ed FCKING Orgeron I am willing to suffer through a few more 10 win seasons and Heismanns with the best coach we've had since Saban.

Hopefully you'll understand. But no one GAF about whether or not our coach "scares" you.

And please don't comment on "elite" as an A&M fan. You don't understand what the word means.

That ignorant gump wont post in this thread again. I remember everything about when Saban left and it being a really tough decision because he and his wife loved it at LSU. That was a hard pill to swallow for LSU fans as well because we knew Saban was building a dynasty at LSU.

As an LSU fan not many other fan bases can point to a former coach that was loved returning to a hated rival and winning titles there. I dont think that we hate Saban because we knew that we had a dam great coach . We hate that fact that he ended up at bama and has had great success there when we knew that it would have been at LSU had Miami offer had not come . I still hate the Dolphins to this day because of what happened but hey a few championships later and a HC that seems to have us pointed in the right direction takes the sting off a little.

You know we're just asking to be trolled by posting this ourselves

But- yeah, I'm comfortable with where Kelly is taking this program. It was definitely the right hire to return stability to LSU.

The instate recruiting has been locked down, and we're beginning to see some top national guys fall into the mix. There really is no ceiling at LSU, as long as we keep the talent base... the potential has always been that LSU should be able to successfully challenge Georgia when both are good. I see things returning to that level soon.

You don't leave something you love; it doesn't make sense.

Ignorant coonasses remind me of the Oklahoma fans who recently attacked the Oklahoma child who was leaving the team. They concocted this elaborate and fantastical story about why children are not allowed to leave their team once they commit.

They called him a liar, said he didn't inform them personally, the fans, that he was leaving, wouldn't answer his phone when they called, said he and his father had been planning the nefarious action for months, etc...

The player had to tell the bounty hunter employees Oklahoma sent out to find him at his home that they would have to talk to his father about his decision to leave as they tried to block the moving van, etc...

They made it seem as if the doxxing they were doing was a virtuous thing and there could never be a reason why any player would want to leave their team, if he was in his right mind.

It was all a dream they had repeated until it became reality in their delusional fevers.

This fairy-tale that you creek roach, brain juice sucking gimps have created about Saban leaving is just that, a fairy-tale, much like the Oklahoma fans created out of thin air about a player just wanting to transfer.

Saban was sick of Baton Rouge, sick of lsu, sick of the ignorant, non-grateful fans and sick of the constant smell of corndogs permeating every facet of his life.

He is a statesman though, kind of like Bear Bryant. Bryant used to say things before games like "lsu is a great team, really strong, going to be tough to beat, and then the score of game would be like 30-0 or something.

He did that with all the teams he faced, even a team like lsu or Vanderbilt.

That is what Saban was doing with his statement about lsu.

Your post holds no water you ignorant gump. You lost all credibility with the crap you posted a few pages ago. Dont let the facts get in your way with the real truth right out of Saban's mouth. Didn't read your crap response.

Are you sure you didn't read even a little bit of the post you are responding to? That seems a little far-fetched, even for a knuckle-dragging, marble-mouthed coonass reject of a normal life form.
