Chris Christie is the Mizzou of the Republican Party. No one really knows if he exists.

LSU measures success in national championships.
Missouri measures success in how many of their coaches are deemed worthy to leave for better football programs.

This season lit a fire under his arse by coaching the best player he’ll ever coach and still losing 3 games because of an idiot at DC. LSU would’ve dismantled Michigan mercilessly with a top 30 defense.

I see even after a year, LSU is still melting that they got out recruited on their states highest rated recruit.
The Mannings hate LSU, no one expected it, and congrats, you got the worst one. When Bryce Underwood is starting, Arch Manning will likely be working on a career in politics after a failed attempt to start at McNeese.
How embarrassing for you. God, I would be ashamed. But despite the immense respect I have for Peyton, the rest of the Mannings can eat dirt.

As if we needed any more proof that he wants to win. Don’t think it’ll be next year but if Ed Orgeron can do it he can do it if he keeps going like this.
Dude came to win a championship at LSU and if not for Joe Biden at DC he would’ve come incredibly close in just his second year. If he doesn’t win it all he will regret this season for the rest of his life.
I’m a homer obviously but just seems like LSU is just built different. The opportunity to win here is just always going to be there for anyone who wants to take it seriously.

LSU played FSU and had the committee thinking they were a playoff team
The only reason they weren’t a playoff team and you guys went in their places is because of a season ending injury to Jordan Travis. Sit down. Arch Manning wouldn’t see the field if his name were Arch Johnson.
Screw it. I’m giving to Bayou Traditions. Football.

Got tired of bitching about NIL and tbh no one has any room to bitch about it if you can’t give at least SOME money per month or if you’re not cutting checks. With the amount some people are splurging for season tickets I consider this a better use of my money and make games when I can.
I will say it’s pretty sad that I only just found out about it. $500 for the season isn’t much (pays for probably 2 whole drives of decent play from one 3 star DB) but bypassing TAF for Stubhub for the non cupcake games is still cheaper than paying several grand just to see fricking Georgia State once a year.

Not a fan of alllllll this money being spent because I don’t want LSU to go bankrupt but Woodward obviously has a system. Pay what people might say is too much for guys who are safe bets. Typically doesn’t take risks on people, I can respect that.

I’m a big fan of pushing this rivalry. It’s low hanging fruit because much like Ole Miss and A&M, they will never win a championship, but I still think the rivalry has potential as they are still very good and, I hate to say it, pretty nice guys. They’ve only been in the SEC for 3 years (still waiting on Wikipedia to update the SEC teams page to include Missouri) so they’re not super mean and jaded yet.
But that’s the last compliment I give Mizzou. Otherwise frick you for stealing our name. But you will never steal our championships nor get one on your own. And do not act like you knew Missouri had a college football team until the pandemic.
God bless Alabama and god bless the SEC.

re: Texas Will Be Close to as Hateable as Bama
Posted by Dingbag on 1/10/24 at 3:33 pm
I’ve said this from the beginning. Texas is very scary, not quite as scary as Bama before their last championship in 2017, but they won’t win it all (it’s a Texas school thing). Neither will Bama ever again, but what makes Texas scary is that almost all of them have a normal number of chromosome pairs. Whereas hating Bama fans just feels wrong at this point. All they had was football and now they don’t even have that anymore.

Kiffin seems like he is building a decent foundation. But can it last? History says it won’t, but we’ll see.
What about 3 10 win seasons do you not understand? Do not diminish the accomplishments of our Rebel yelling, powder blue brothers. For years we all laughed at the 78% of Ole Miss fans who breastfed til their teenage years. Who’s laughing now, AUTiger?
Not 1, not 2, but 3 10 win seasons. Like UTk and Missouri, Kiffin has arrived.

I am actually warming up to this Mizzou in the SEC charade thing. Their fans have some fight to them and are typically pretty smart, though very shy. They have really done their homework since taking up football watching as a hobby during the pandemic.

I just feel bad for Penix. He played against Texas and thought he was a first round pick. Now, he’ll be lucky to play a single NFL snap. False hopes for the young man, Sarkisian is a very, very mean person. They probably did it on purpose. There is no way the burnt orange would lose to Washington unless they had a reason. They are Texas. They expect to be in the national championship discussion at least once every 20 years.

I have never been so proud to be an SEC fan. 3 10 win seasons before age 50. BK and Saban haven’t even accomplished that and they’re significantly older.
Future is bright my friend. God bless you.
Biggest accomplishment in the SEC goes to Ole Miss

Let’s be honest. This season was not one for the ages. Just a few moments ago, we saw a maize and blue tsunami swallow the SEC's crimson pride whole, taking advantage of a dynasty that’s been dead for longer than Lee Corso, leaving a bitter taste of autumn leaves and dashed dreams.
But from the ruins rose a powder blue, that saw underdog Ole Miss crowned kings. Kiffin, the now consensus GOAT of coaching, painted history by accomplishing his whopping 3rd 10 win season in his entire P5 career, and somehow the crafty bastard accomplished this previously impossible task before age 50. Ole Miss, you've restored a glimmer to the fallen South. SEC may stumble, but Lane's swagger burns eternal.
God bless Ole Miss and God bless the SEC.

Georgia totally had that game against dying Bama! 9 times out of 10 for sure would’ve won.

A good troll is ideally somewhat believable. This guy was just trying too hard. Don’t give him sympathy upvotes simply because he took him about 5 days to write that shite.

LSU was the only team in the nation to have a Heisman QB AND lose to Ole Miss in the same season! Truly impressive!
It’s nothing personal. It’s just something a school like Ole Miss would do. I don’t know why you’re lashing out, your HC just cemented his status amongst the greatest coaches of all time with his whopping 3rd good season as a P5 head coach. You have nothing to be mad about.

Might depend on your line of work, I personally don’t care, but I’d say if you’re gonna send it to them at midnight you’re better off sending it at 8 am.
