Blake Baker is the highest paid DC in America and he is unpaid. (Florida he does not want to be your HC hands off)
He is a mfering evil genius. After playing two real teams and La Tech which is probably a bowl team this year.

They have held their victims to no gain or negative yards on almost half of their plays (40%)

They have allowed no points in the second half of any game against starters. (Baker is genius at adjustments)

If you take away the garbage time TD tech got in the 4th quarter against mostly subs, and two FGs given up off turnovers when they were already in FG range they have given up 14 points in 3 games or less than 5 points per game. And they are getting better every game.

The Secondary is actually not only good but elite this year. They are ruining Qbs, even first round pick 5th year qb Klubnick looked like a freshman and was completely lost and confused by Bakers tricks. He still hasn’t recovered. The last play was a complex trap that sent him right into the arms of Harold Perkins, (yeah he is back better than ever)

The defense is nasty and will keep us in every game.

We will still lose a game or two because offense is a work in progress and may or may not get its shite together, and we have no OC. But at least we are back to playing traditional LSU football.

Too early in the season. They will get their first test of an actual offense vs Ole Miss.

Did you mean offense? Because that is where LSU is. Certainly not a top 5 or 10 team with that offense.

LSU has a good defense, but Clemson's offense seems to be mildly overrated thus far.

Just like Texas' offense doesn't look as good as advertised. I still think OSU has a really good defense, but it may not look as elite as people thought after holding Texas to 7 points (really nothing in the first 55 minutes of the game).

So far LSU has played some pretty bad offenses. They look really good though. We will see shortly.

Clemson's offense seems to be dogshit.

But there is no doubt that LSU's defense is much improved from last year, which they were awful last year. We'll see if they are for real against Ole Miss.

based on what? Clemson has been bad on offense in all of their games, as has Florida, and LA Tech.

Scoring offense rank
#80 Florida
#81 LA Tech
#112 Clemson

Oh, and just for fun here is LSU offensive rank.
#108 LSU
