I would but not because of Florida. I don’t want any permanents. That way you play every team more often. The way it is now is ridiculous.

Indeed. Something about LSU/Georgia just feels BIG TIME. I love it. The uniforms, the colors, the fans, everything. Everything about playing Georgia kicks arse.

Depending on the time of year I hate the gators as much as the gumps. I want to keep the gators although I will never go to Gainesville again as it is horrible. Worst place in the SEC.

Of course they would. They constantly cry how unfair it is that they have to play UF while Bama gets Tenner.

I'm sure if they're good games, people will want to see the rematch.

Once again you have so many "must keep" games that you would have to give all 14 teams the same format. So, for ex., if some teams have 4, then somebody's going to have 4 forced annual games. Which is no different than the c-d we have now.
As I have stated before, a non-division setup will need the requirement of comparing all teams to each other due to the lack of common opponents.
So, until we go to 4x4 pods, we have the best set up possible.

My point was when Tn. beat Ala., it helped y'all because it was almost a given L for the Tide.

Not at all. I look forward to that game every year. It's always fun to watch, win or lose.

The drawback to your format is that years 1-6: 2 T1, 2 T2, 4 T3...but years 7-8: 2 T1, 3 T6

How do you chart out the T3 schedule?

Beat me to it my Gator brother. We may fight on game day but the (f)aggies are always.... well.

Maybe so, but you also have to remember, Alabama wasn't the team to beat in the West then either. Auburn and LSU owned the West, depending on who had homefield that season, and Arkansas bumping in 2-3 times in that stretch. Alabama had fallen to 4th behind those teams.

Man, the SEC was fun in the early-mid 2000's. Nothing against Alabama's run, but back then you could throw a dart at the SEC roster and have a good chance of hitting a Top 10 team. LSU, Auburn, UGA, Tenn, Florida... no conference could ever match the depth.

I like the game even though it makes it more difficult for LSU in the SEC West race. I say keep it.

You know LSU has never really played Tennessee or Georgia that much.
Been in a conference together but never really played before this realignment and the one in the 1990's.

Hell no. Always a hell of a game.

Eta: I wouldn’t mind it being moved to night though

That's the reason I want better rotation.

Bo Jackson
Hershel Walker
Peyton Manning

3 of the greatest players in SEC history, and LSU fans never got to see them. That sucks.

100%. Florida: the state, it’s 1000’s of schools and stadiums and all their fans suck.
Would much rather have fun in Lexington, Knoxville, Athens, hell even Columbia, SC than fkn Gainesville every other year.

Tough question to answer. On the one hand, the LSU/UF games tend to be a lot of fun and while it isn’t a “real” rivalry it’s really got that feel. On the other hand, it would be nice to get to play other members of the SECE more often.
