We flew down the field in a hurry up and had bama on their heels and they couldn't stop us.
We would not have lost any momentum if we had spiked the ball.
quote:
Not sure how psiking the ball would prevent bama's DL from getting a hand on the ball and tipping it.
The ball wasn’t batted down by the Alabama D-line, it was batted by a blitzing outside linebacker that wasn’t picked up, and had a free run into the backfield. You don’t think that spiking the ball would have helped Murray pick up the blitzer, with a stopped clock and time to examine the defense?
quote:
"we were flyign down the field with zero resistance, why didn't we throw to the endzone instad of giving their defense a chance to rest and regroup!?!? Damn richt!!"
No one would say that stupid shite. If they did, they’d be wrong.

Marvin Lewis loved him some UGA guys. Geno Atkins was great there too.

UGA has had some mean RBs that's for sure.

Much like LSU with cornerbacks, we have been spoiled with borderline elite RB play for most of the last 15 or so years since Knowshon got to Athens

I grew up in Baton Rouge and as a kid i loved me some Charles Alexander. As an adult i was blown away by Tyrann's athleticism and how he could completely take over a game. And it’s hard to not love a guy like Booger.
