LSU literally can not win. Kiffin is the new saban and OM is going to kick BK's arse like he always does.

its pretty clear from the OM side that this is the case. LSU should just run the clock and keep the score close as possible to not be embarrassed.

Starkville is the closest geographically to Tuscaloosa

well I hadn't thought of that... that is a really good argument since teams and fans still travel game to game by steam train

Feeling good with the defense LSU is playing this season. I think the offense does just enough to win considering Ole Miss has one of the worst in the conference.

I feel good enough about the defense holding up.

If the offense can sustain drives LSU wins.

I am thinking Perk will be saying hi to Chambliss a few times. I remember the first time Perk played you guys...Dart was shell shocked after. =)

Actually, after looking at the stats via Grok, in the last 5 years his most prolific scoring is in the 4th quarter. His worst is the 1st quarter. I was surprised by that.

2023 1st quarter - 21-7 Ole Miss 2023 halftime - 31-28 Ole Miss
2024 1st quarter - 0-0 2024 halftime - 17-13 Ole Miss
Ole Miss has led at halftime the last 4 games and yet are only 2-8 over the L10 in the Magnolia Bowl. Good thing for us once we settle in our superior talent takes over. Just need to get off to a good start and we will cover the spread

If y'all play like you did against Kentucky, then I'm liking LSU's chances a lot. If y'all play more like you have since then - well... It could go either way. You looked a tad bit better against Arky, and y'all tuned up real well on Tulane.

I think it'll be a good game. A legitimate test for both teams. As for right now, though, neither team has truly defined themselves in the eyes of the country.

I think LSU fans are overestimating the strength of their defense.

I just have a lot of faith in our pass rush vs y'alls o-line. I don't think we hold you to 10 points by any means, but I do think we will have some big yardage sacks that will lead the way to a couple of turnovers later in the game.

We will just have to take advantage on offense if and when that happens. Our last game was the first time I didn't notice Nussmeier throwing behind receivers last the previous few weeks. Our offensive line still isn't getting any push though and I don't expect that to change, no matter how bad your rush defense is statistically.

Tigers have played well in the second half against the Rebels, as they traditionally do against everyone but Bama.

We cannot run the ball. So there's that.

LSU's O line is a problem. Our defensive weakness is stopping the run and LSU struggles with it and has their only RB weapon injured.

I think it is close at halftime but Nuss forces one late because of the pressure and OM wins by 7-10.

Well, we can't stop the run. So there's that.

LSU will get beat by ole miss. LSU has zero run game. I expect a 27-17 loss for tigers.

I don't think we can hold them to 17 points.

There is a chance we turned a corner Saturday. That isn't a terrible Tulane team.

I don't think it means it is a good unit. But it just has to be average. It can't be worse than La Techs.

If Nuss will get his head out of his butt and run for a few yards they have a shot. If not it’s going to be another frustrating game watching him throw that stupid slant pass that gets negative yards.
