Ole miss might go 1-11 but they’ll beat LSU. It means too much to them.

If the game was in BR I’d comfortably take LSU

But this is probably going to be the biggest home game in Ole Miss history and they’re angry.

We will have to play a damn perfect game to walk out of there with a win.

Pete Goulding is their coach they lost key defensive starters and Lane is gonna want this just as bad. Plus It’s gonna be hot and the student section Is gonna be cleared out by the end of the first quarter.

Golding might dust off the drunken cob webs long enough to focus on this one, but that dude is going to face plant in Matt Luke type fashion before the season is over.

A 20 point win by Ole Miss woukd cause a top 3 alll-time melt on this board.

There are plenty of LSU supporters that don’t like Kiffin but they are being quiet. Oh my god…. The infighting would be epic.

Ole Miss is going to be really really good team this year. Defense supposed to be legit.

Tougher schedule than past couple years but expectation is another playoff run.

All that said, I think we win at home

Impossible to know what happens. We have basically a new team this year so have no idea what to expect.

It really is. I also really enjoy the Texas / aTm fighting and Bama / Auburn fighting as well. Always entertaining.

If Nick Saban could beat LSU in Les Miles' prime in 2008 two years into a total rebuild at Bama in our first home game against Saban, I'm comfortable saying that Kiffin can beat Ole Miss, led by Pete the Yat, at Ole Miss.

It’ll come to QB play. Can Leavitt be the guy Kiffin wants him to be? Can Chambliss remain hot in year 2? If I were a betting person, I’d bet on the latter. If the game was later in the year and Leavitt was more comfortable in the offense, I’d give LSU better odds.

Sometimes I get worried because this game is in Oxford but I remind myself that Pete Golding is their HC

Usually, it is the team that scores the most points

Actually, it’s always the team that scores the most points

Which means they'll lose like Miss St did in 2018 for Mullen's homecoming.

Agreed

And if Chambliss gets a year 9, it’ll be a great game in 2027 too

Honestly I think Lane will coach the game of his life in Oxford and win. May even run up the score. Ole Miss fans are getting in his head he’s even calling for LSU and ole Miss fans to fight each other. He will win in Oxford and then blow the miss state game.
