I feel bad for Oregon and Ole Miss fans, they get a home playoff game for the first time ever and its no different than the tune up non conference cupcakes they play every september.

I'll never understand why some people think the way they do.

Don’t care about World Cup or soccer. Soccer is a fun sport to play as a kid but anything beyond that, it’s a snoozefest.

Face value ticket is 189 dollars …. For the OU game and was sold out same day . Resellers may be selling one ticket up top for that amount but average ticket for a normal seat is 3-400

Why are those OU tickets so cheap? Playoff game against Bama? Hard to imagine a more important home game

Just looked at SeatGeek. 2 worst tickets in the house are going for $162 a piece. Decent seats around $250 each.

Fun Game to play if you are on the Field. Boring as Hell if you are in the Stands.

last time Bama was in Neyland I think it cost me about 300 to get into the nosebleeds. You’d think Oklahoma would be the same or probably more expensive because they’ve got 20k less seats

CFP set the prices for these games, and the prices vary. There is not one face value for the entire stadium.

OU fansite article

quote:

The cheapest original price for a ticket was $25 for students. The next was $150 for seats in the upper sidelines. The most expensive ticket was $375 in a suite. Other ticket prices included $325 (club), $250 (lower midfield), $200 (lower sidelines), and $160 (lower endzone).

ETA: SeatGeek has a pair in Sec 227 for $146. There are 400 more listings for pairs of tickets for this game than for the A&M-Miami game right now.

Lowest i saw for A&M vs Miami was $340. Might get into SRO for $250 but that area is packed like sardines and is a miserable experience.

$241 is the current "get in price" for a pair of tickets in 417 on SeatGeek (and that includes fees).

When you have a stadium that is the same size as most Texas high schools, it’s bound to cause prices to go way up. This will be the hottest ticket inside Vaught-Hemingway since the George Wallace campaign stop of 1968.

Alabama @ OU- $145

Goodness OU. How are ya’ll SEC? It’s not like you have a huge stadium.

James Madison @ Oregon- $82

Our leaders aren’t serious people. How they can create a system that gives us THIS in primetime is unreal. You have to be an absolute idiot to make this happen and yet here we are for the second year in a row getting fed this garbage.

So how does the first round playoff tickets work as far as home/away percentage of tickets? I thought I remembered visiting teams getting a slightly larger allotment of tickets than in a regular season game.

Visitors get only 3500. On the small side.

I’m not sure but I don’t think it’s anything drastically different than usual
