Best coach available and best job available. Seems to make sense to me.

I’ve got more ole miss connections than you, and I went to LSU. Take that for what it is.

Well, Kiffin’s average HC tenure (going back to Raiders) is 2.6 years.

Across 5 jobs, Kiffin has demonstrated he will jump in less than 3 years.

Is there a reason Auburn thinks they’ll be immune to this? Or are they happy to have Kiffin for 36 months?

We were looking for a coach when we found him. I’d prefer he stay, but we can’t overpay (well not too much) or move heaven and earth to keep him.

If he stays for 3 years and gets us to back to back 10 wins seasons. I will accept that deal

36 months is a long stay for recent coaches at Auburn. Harsin was less than 2 years.

Well the guy isn’t really my “friend” but I know him and he’s cool. Everything else I swear my life on it.

He’s been rebuilding his career after getting left on the tarmac. He’s been at stepping stone jobs and is seeking a destination job.
