You read that as a deferral? It says that artificial noise is allowed as long as you follow the rules set forth right there. You seriously think the NCAA is going to leave in a loophole so that any school that goes to stadium out of conference could be at the mercy of that conferences rules that only apply to conference opponents. I watched the N Illinois replay today, and was astounded how no one was shouting. Just ringing the bells on third downs, mouths shut tight.
