Saban's the Donald Trump of the college football world. He toys with the press and nearly every thing he does and says around them is for a beneficial reason...and they don't have a clue! Watch how he fricks with them at his press conferences and uses them to get his points across....guy's two steps ahead of them all.
It amazes me that the press AND the public haven't realized by now that Saban's very aware of what/who are important to the program and what his RIGHTFUL ultimate goal is..to make Alabama the pinnacle of college football.

He tried to bankrupt us late last season by leveraging our qb debt.

That’s exactly why I’d keep asking.

His disdain for the press is strong. I used to work for MSY catering and would do his pressers. Riding the elevator with him as he was leaving was usually him cruising the media up and down. That guy should have never parked in his spot...

The media has a job. Do they ask stupid questions, yes. Do they repeat questions ask by other, yes? It’s their job. There are respectable ways to answer questions. Saban can’t help it, he’s a prick and only gets away with it because he’s the best coach out there. Sooner or later he’ll reap the benefits his pathetic attitude.

If this is true, then Saban has a right to tell them to get fricked. Anyone who is not tired at this point of the media of trying to start and maintain controversies should go vote for a fricking democrat.

I don’t think saying if one had a better game over the other is disrespecting the other. Obviously Tua played better.

Jesus, now she was trying to start a controversy

She asked a simple question that every other coach in America answers without issue when they have multiple QBs who could see the field

The “right” to do something doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. Saban would come off much better if he would just be respectful with his answers.

All she asked is “what answers do you have after watching both of your QBs tonight?” and we have grown men in this thread pretending there is some conspiracy to divide the bama team.

Saban was so mad, he was looking for a step ladder so he could slap her.

He could have nipped this in the bud if he would have been a man and made Tua the starter earlier in the week. My 8 year old grandson could see who is the better qb. But he sidesteps the question, and its his fault they keep asking him the same damn question. Its the little mans decease that's all.

I understand he’s tired of the QB questions but his reaction was a little too much.

I’ve always thought CNS has handled press questions well over his career and that his responses are measured and his words carefully chosen, more so than is the case with most coaches. And that’s even with being in the spotlight all the time.

That said I thought last night was an exception. I was with him when he was initially answering the post game question and then he turned it to more of an attack on the reporter. I would have thought he would have left it at that he has two fine QBs who can contribute and help the team win and just leave it at that. I do think that is true and do expect him to use both going through the season. He’s a smart man and is going to try to keep all weapons at his disposal—that’s a big reason why he wins. If one ends up playing more or one is labeled as the #1 QB it is no disrespect to the other and I did not think the question was worded such as “So have you determined who is the better QB?” but even if it had been he’s normally very good at giving tempered responses. The first question pre-game was who was going to start as QB and then after the game it was what was his “assessment” of the play of his QBs. Nothing called for a douche response.

Notwithstanding all the above a bigger deal is being made out of this issue than should be.

Hurts has 3 more games to play in for Bama. Then redshirt. That is all.
