South Carolina never seriously looked at Dae'Quan Wright. They did look at D.Q. Smith who left from last year's SC team, but decided that it was not a path they wanted to go down either.
But keep justifying your team's actions using what other teams DIDN'T do...

If "Hey, maybe I should jump of this bridge. Maybe not, that's a bad idea" is considering/recruiting a player, then sure, you're 100% right.

Well also different because they weren't - as best we now know - working with them to create a lawsuit against the NCAA.

These injunctions and TROs are not lawsuits.
Do you think Trinidad studied the NCAA eligibility rules and found a lawyer to help him exploit a crack about sore throat documentation? No, Ole Miss got him there.
The selective memory and story twisting needed to get mad at LSU and only LSU, Lane Kiffin and only Lane Kiffin is remarkable.

Ole Miss was looking at adding players. Not sure Wright was one of them as they were looking to add some OL depth. Wright and Harris both talked to Ole Miss about the possibility as soon as the ruling came down.
