He is beat and needs to play golf...when asked about UF players suspensions...he remembered Callaway but didn't know Scarlett and instead said something about a DE (I'm sure it was Sherit)being injured...dude is back OMG

I think whoever at ESPN let him pass a screen test will be fired.

He's always been terrible at speaking. I've got Asperger's and I don't struggle as much as him to put thoughts into words.

Listening to his press conference was more painful than a root canal. Dude was like John L. Smith level of awkward.

Idk who at ESPN thought it was a good idea to give him a microphone.

I wouldn't feel too bad for him. He's probably going to be your next head coach soon..

You realize LSU are the one paying more because our athletic director made them think there was an offer.

Hogs wouldn't hire Les.

maybe he needs some practice. How many people start off stellar? Even Saban was slow starting at bama.

Mack Brown really dominated that coaches show last night. Gene Chizk was impressive. Les was taking up so was McElroy

To me though they should've just let him finish the season, and had an agreement for him to retire.

He had the opportunity to walk away with a win and a standing ovation but he passed and promised a modern offense in return for one more year. He didn't have to be run out of town he chose that path

He's getting old. Heard him on radio in Mississippi last month and he was solid. Must have good and bad days of being his old colorful self.

Jerry DiNardo coached with him at Colo and he said that in coaches 's meetings, where things could get very heated, Coach Miles would take off on a tangent & no one had a clue as to what he was saying. And DiNardo considers him a friend. CLM is not dumb or stupid, he got a real college degree at Mich. not a jock degree. He just can not talk like the rest of us. For whatever reasons, he kills 'em dead on the recruiting trail. A great person who did a lot of good for the B.R. community and went way out of his way to interact with terminal children who he befriended.

Must have been the first time you actually listened to him talk. And folks wanted him to be on gameday lol. Also easy to see how he bombed all his recent job interviews.

He's really, really bad. I would have thought he'd be so much better given his personality, but it's like he struggles to formulate a coherent thought any time he's not stating the obvious.

i'm watching a re-run of sec now with les and marcus spears. les is struggling and marcus is doing a great job of propping him up. miles has such a fun, quirky personality plus years of coaching experience..he just needs some kind of media coach to bring all of that out. he would be awesome if he could just get comfortable on set.

My mother went to high school with him.

Said he was an idiot. She is extremely intelligent so I will take her word for it

It's sad that LSU 'fans' feel this way about one of their top all time HCs.

I suppose it's to be expected from one of the truly stupid fanbases.

Same with Jim Donnan, he is a regular on ATL sports radio and it gives me a headache just listening to him form sentences.

I have always liked and enjoyed listening to Les. With that being said, I think his mind is slipping. I watched him last night on the round table during the Oh St. game and it was brutal once he spoke, to say the least.
