I imagine the Fournette threads will wind up much like the first half LSU sucks threads

Seriously? EVERY run was into the teeth of a stacked 9 man box that was doing a run blitz. THAT is what LSU fans want to run with?

Why did your OC continue running their prized RB into the teeth of a blitzing 9 man box? Either you are wrong, or you need to take a good long look at your OC, I would say.

I have been pumping LF up right alongside the LSU fans. He will be a beast. he will only be there for 3 years before turning pro, and many teams will lose sleep to nightmares of trying to stop LF. He is that good, and will show it sooner, rather than later.

But, LSU fans need to quit trying to make up excuses, and simply say he is a freshman and LSU ran into a buzz saw of a run defense in Wisconsin.

Actually, that's why LSU won this game in the end. A commitment to the run game, regardless of 9 in the box. Even the Wisconsin coaches admitted it.

Really, a Bama fan talking crap about another team right now. Did you watch your team's game yesterday? You may not have to worry about LF, but you sure as hell better start worrying about Auburn and A&M. Looks like the spread is going to screw Saban again.

Outside of LSU fans, after one game, you other fan bases automatically think he's a major bust. This thread is bookmarked for when he runs it down your throats. If he does not, I'll come back and eat all the crow you want.

Are you kidding? LSU fans do nothing BUT take a long look at our OC, no matter who it is. We ran into the stacked box because the game plan was to try to run the ball. Wisconsin figured that would be the case, so they sold out to stop the run and did so. Eventually (too late for my comfort), we adjusted and starting spreading them out with 3 WR sets and some intermediate throws. Suddenly, the run game opened up, Jennings started getting protection and the offense rolled. By that time, though, Hilliard had the hot hand so he was getting the carries. The one late carry Fournette got lost 11 yards because of the fumbled pitch.

Fournette is a true freshman and played like one, Kenny Hilliard did a good job and took care of business in the 4th quarter. I wonder how many freshman are in Bama's secondary?

Trust me, he's going to be average. I can tell by watching last night's game too.
