Removing him from the record books is an amateur bitch move. I dont give a shite what the record books show, he ran harder and broke more tackles than any running back LSU ever had. That dude was like tdying to tackle the Tasmanian Devil himself. One on one he refused to be brought down and drug the damn pile an extra 2 to 3 yards every single time he ran the football. Record books or not, i know i saw a bad arse dude running the ball like he hated the world. He was a damn pleasure to watch. I dont know him personally and i got no way of knowing if he did all that shite they said he did. On the field he was one bad dude!

If Eli Ricks doesnt have enough respect to at least meet the new coach, hear what his plans are, then shake hands, and let the coach know what his plans are as a player trying to get to the NFL, then i want Eli Ricks to go wherever he needs to be to get himself some satisfaction. I watched every play of every game and Ricks played no better than the other corners if you grade him out percentage wise. He's a good corner, but we have more good corners on the team and we'll sign some more from right here in La. LSU and the state of La. produces too many good DB's to have to pucker up and kiss ones azz thats a rotten apple. If he dont wanna play here, I dont wanna waste a scholly on a playerl that needs his ego stroked and his azz kissed. Next man up, and see ya round Eli! Geaux Tigers

I could care less if they smoke weed, none of my business. However, 51 obviously cant follow the rules to be an LSU football player. After 4 years here and staying in the doghouse, thats a fact. He was a talented athlete that for whatever reason never put it all together here. If he can abide by Kentucky's program rules, im happy for him. Sometimes people learn from there mistakes n sometimes they need a change of scenery. Some never learn. I wish him the best. yall can argue the benefits and negatives about Marijuana til the cows come home. If i could smoke every night after work and remain gainfully employed i would. Since i cant, i dont do it.

The 2018 Georgia game let me know what we had, we physically kicked the shite out of Georgia, that was a beating much worse than the score. LSU mauled UGA up front.

He is one of the all time greats, what he accomplished on the field speaks for itself. He ran with more effort and intensity than any back that ever played here, dude ran like he was mad at the world. You couldnt ask for more effort and heart out of a player. I dont know him as a person, but if we judging running backs, he was the real deal

Finley has all the physical attributes and will still be a freshman, 2020 didnt cost him any eligibility. Nobody gave up on him, i think he still was in contention to win the job. If he had to go, he picked an ideal situation to transfer to. New staff, new system, new depth chart. Auburn at the very least aquired quality depth, with some good qb coaching maybe a starter in a year. I wish him well, just not against LSU!

Harvey and Darrel Williams were both good guys, Darrel was a fullback, and kinda nuts! Harvey decided to go to LSU spur of the moment, he was an impulsive guy but a good guy at heart. Back then, everybody was buying players , Harvey coukd have got big money to stay in Texas but he marched to the beat of his own drum. He had a better career than most of us thought he’d have!

I was in my apartment on Sherwood Forrest Blvd in Baton Rouge with a bunch of friends bbqing n gettin drunk. I had accepted the loss, given up and went outside to turn the steaks over on the grill. I heard screaming and cheering inside n my brother sticks his head out the door and says, “you aint gonna believe this shite, u just missed the biggest play in LSU History”

Phillips is going to make an NFL team and up being a good NFL linebacker. He’s a big downhill thumper, 6 ft 4 and a 39 inch vertical, 4.66 40 which is plenty quick enough to play MLB and wreak havoc sideline to sideline. He’s only 20 yrs old, still gonna fill out and will improve in coverage. Athletically he’s fine. He needed another year to go in the early round but he’ll make it anyway
