I admit after all the talk going into the season I was terrified of LF.

Yea. Based on the LSU fans hyping him up, I figured the guy would be a beast in his first game out. Heck, even our two freshman running backs put in better performances.

A few weeks ago I said that LF would only have 200 total rushing yards by mid-October. I'm right on track.

Yeah, I mean he looked meh while he was out there. But at least he got out there.

Coker for Heisman definitely took a hit yesterday with his stat line. 0-0 for 0 yards. 1-1 on handoffs.

Meh, they played a good game to stop the run and the o line looked terrible most of the game. The next 5 weeks are all softballs being lobbed at him so he can pad some stats.

3 botched screens, botched pitch and no holes to hit (until the 4th quarter where they magically open up for Hilliard's big gains and a TD) are your answers. Also they keyed him and run blitz every single time. They knew the offense was struggling with the pass and took advantage of it.

Criticize him all you want. He will come around.

Well when you have a senior getting 90 in one qtr, you just ride the hot hand...

Just know he's stronger and faster than that senior and will give Bama fits for 4 yrs

At least he didn't rush for -3 yards in his debut like Derrick Henry against VT last year. That was easy. I will admit that Fournette had 50x the hype that Henry had though, so it's probably fair game.

Every run LF had was against a run blitz. Sure, there was a few times where I wondered why he didn't plant his foot and juke a guy instead of running them over. If he had the carries that Hilliard had in the 4th quarter then he would have broken some huge runs when Wisconsin finally had to worry about the passing game. The missed toss was his fault, but the screens were obviously not. He'll get acclimated over the next two cupcake games and hopefully get into his groove.

Meh..... he got carries up the middle only. Every time. The one toss play was dropped for a loss and Jennings couldn't hit him on screen passes. It was just a true freshman's first college game.

Leonard Fournette 18 yards????

All his carries were into the teeth of a stacked 9-man box. He still gained 29 yards on 7 carries before being assessed with an 11-yard loss on an errant pitch/fumble he recovered. After we went to 3 WR sets and Jennings showed he could throw on Wisconsin, the running game opened up, but Hilliard was getting all the carries then.

Fournette looked big and physical, but didn't show a lot of speed.

he could still turn out to be great. But the people proclaiming him to be the next AD or the best RB in years need to eat some crow. The Petersons of the world are still able to get yards with weak lines.

He would have been a beast and put up big numbers if Wiscy's defense didn't play.
