Kid was as solid as you could be in college.

Missed a few crucial kicks yesterday that could have won the Vikings the game. By his standards, they were easy kicks too.

Being a kicker in the NFL is the most stressful highly paid job on earth.

Literally one bad day at the office and you are in the unemployment line and you ain't gettin' no severance. And your day at the office boils down to making 40+ yard kicks in hostile environments.

I mean damn, that sucks.

pretty cut throat to cut a rookie after one bad game early in the season, especially considering he was drafted in the 5th round. Feel bad for the kid because he's still plenty good enough to play in the NFL.

Does he still have eligibility? We can make his Alabama dreams finally come true.

It is crazy to see these guys that are money in college fail in the NFL. Roberto Aguayo was awesome at FSU. He sucked in the NFL. I don't what happens. I think it is a mental thing.

Wow. That sucks pretty bad. Personally, I think premature. Hope he gets with a good team and he gets another shot. Dude was as solid as a kicker as they come in college football.

They are signing Bailey. It's not a bad move at all.

Didn't he miss some easy kicks in preseason too?

NFL teams don't have time for that shite. That said, he couldn't have been more impressive at Auburn. I hope he gets it turned around.

Browns should sign him. He had one bad day; he proved he can kick in college, I hope he gets another chance to prove himself in the NFL. I think with some of these rookie kickers, they just need some time to get their mental state right for kicking in the NFL.

It is strange what happens with some of these great college kickers though. People like Carlson and Aguayo (from FSU) were automatic in college, even from 42 yards +. then they get to the NFL and have a tough go of it. The pressure must be incredibly intense at that level.
