Certainly looks like it. LSU fighting for 3rd place in the SEC West. Makes sense.

We have a lot of young "up and comers" so that will change over time if it works out.

Safe to say these are extremely overpaid relative to results.

It would be interesting to know how many assistants each team has.

Each team has 10 assistants. These totals are just for on field assistants, not analysts or off-field like strength and conditioning.

Also, I think these numbers are not completely up to date. I think UGA is at $8.35 million. I could be wrong.

Monken $2,000,000
Hartley $650,000
Searels $650,000
McClendon $700,000
McGee $800,000
Muschamp $800,000
Scott $750,000
Brown $750,000
Schumann $800,000
Uzo-Diribe $450,000

Total $8,350,000

Not sure how LSU or Florida in particular can be considered overpaid as they haven't even started yet.

There are like 100 guys in the nation making real money in college ball, and they are all grinding 90 hour weeks year round.

The rest of them are also grinding 90 hour weeks and making $30-40k.

Relative to results, please justify your rationale as to how A&M is not the most overpaid staff in the conference.

By the way, 4-6 have always paid well and have multiple championships and championship appearances.

I'm not disputing that. Just saying that the number of guys making real bank in college is very small compared to the amount of guys coaching in college. And it is a real grind.

Not really good correlation beyond #1 & 2 and not sure those are related to spend on assistants.

#3-6 had 3 staff changes and whatever frickery happening at Auburn, so TBD... but they changed for a reason.
