Impossible. Pit Boss is the greatest hire of the off-season. Once he became available the pigs passed on Lane Kiffin to land this once in a generation coach.

Look, I know LSU had a lot graduate, but really?

So long as Mond is their QB, it's hard to see them having a better shot than LSU.

The shutdown is gonna hurt LSU on offense more than anyone else in the SEC most likely. These guys needed to be out working on timing and routes this whole time.

Aggie has shown no signs of being close to a title. Where they improved defensively they got worse offensively.

When you aren’t sure just how shite a team is going to be so you say frick it and throw em all together at 80/1

Is 4th place at 10/1 really close?

Well, it does - sort of - imply Texas A&M will finish second in the west.

That said, based on how heavily favored Alabama is, it might be more of an undefeated Alabama with everyone else in the West having 2-3 losses.

No excuses for A&M with this schedule to not be in the running

While Vegas isn’t perfect, they rely on heavily scientific algorithms to set their odds.
They don’t consider the subjective “fandom” variables on which message boards get hung up.

But I agree with the comments above: Alabama will win the west, so—apart from bowl games—does it really matter?

We finished 2nd in the west in Jimbo's first year. So that doesn't seem like a stretch at all.

I see A&M struggling in a trap game at Starkville.

I think they lose @ Auburn.

@ South Carolina isn't a cake walk for them. I would say A&M goes 1-1 between USC and MSU.

They're losing to LSU and Bama. They could beat LSU at home I guess, but I think the chances are slim.

They should handle Ole Miss, Vandy, and Arkansas at home (though a loss to either OM or us isn't out of the question). No way they lose any of those NC games.

So, 8-4, around 4th in the West.

By virtue of the tiebreaker with LSU, true. I think, technically, both LSU and Texas A&M finished second (sort of in the same way that teams can "tie" for a division, but the head-to-head winner goes on to play in the title game and is regarded as the actual winner).

I agree it’s pointless to break a tie that doesn’t mean anything. But 2nd or tied in 2nd is still 2nd.
