Come on now. 6 wins against the Big XII tri-champs? That counts as 2, at best.

Drop South Carolina. I think Kentucky is not likely but I hope they do get to host. RPI certainly could justify it. Auburn and Alabama have certainly played into deserving to host. Definitely 6, hopefully 7, definitely not 8.
Kentucky hasn't hosted since they built their new park. That shouldn't be a factor, but it probably is. They like to reward teams that invest in facilities.

Weird flex to brag about having a handful of wins over projected 2 seeds plus Stanford.

I just can’t see how South Carolina would host at this point. They are 7-13 in their last 20 games and were 4-11 in the month of May. That’s just poor.

Kentucky is in a similar boat sliding in the second half of the season but swept South Carolina. I don’t see how the committee justifies hosting 2 sec teams that have been poor the last 5 weeks regardless of rpi.

South Carolina probably drops out of hosting now. But Kentucky’s gonna host no matter what with their RPI.

Am I missing something or would we (A&M) just be really lucky to land in that Boston regional? Is BC really that good this year?

I remember spoiling the Norman regional around the time I started heavily following college baseball. Good times.

Honestly thats fine with me as long as we end up at Coastal. They can mash the ball but their pitching is suspect.

Some of the SEC 2 seeds can win regionals imo, our league is just that much better this year

Yeah, I think Coastal is a good team, but South Carolina would be favored in those games.

exactly. We could lose that regional and I wouldnt be shocked, but it just feels like it would be a good matchup.

This is not the year. All season long we’ve stolen loss from the jaws of victory. Last night was the same brutal song.

Tech scores three runs in the 9th to beat Oklahoma, 10-9. An absolutely crushing loss. Hard to get past the two Jackson Nicklaus errors in the fourth that allowed four runs to score.

We led the whole game and pitched well, but some horific defense ended up costing the game. Niw have to play Pokes tonight for elimination (our 6th game vs them this year)

Bedlam No.6 in an elimination game on Friday at 6:30p.

Texas could be a #2 and sent to Auburn?

Its been that kind of year, really lost a ton of talent and we’ve dropped so many games we were in control of. That shows the potential, but we have no consistency. Same crap last night, led wire to wire but lost in B9. Up 5-0 in 4th and pop up for 3rd out. Dropped it and then gave up 4 runs to lead 5-4. Back and forth and we go to B8 up 9-7. Again, blew it lost 10-9.

I never expected a repeat of last year with all the draft losses, but crappy play has lost a ton of games. At one point we swept Tx @ Tx, something we had never done in our history. Just can’t put it togher in a period of time although they did finish year winning more than losing.

But in Conf playoffs you can’t give up games. Now we have to go thru losers bracket and play tonight where a win would have given us day off. And we used a lot of pitchers last night to get the win so are in trouble with arms tonight.
