Looks fun, if a little weird.

A&M greek life is terrible, so I guess all that pent up energy has to be released at some point.

Even as lame as rodeo has become, it's still the best college party in the country hands down.

Seems like a bit of a tough call to make considering most people haven't been to 99% of yearly college parties.

I stand corrected ... guess I am old.

Eh, I'm not exactly young. Bingham has been around for a pretty good while. He won an Oscar for Crazy Heart. Casey Donahew has also been around for 10-15 years. Turnpike not quite as long. Josh Abbot has been around for 15+ years, used to play a lot with Pat Green. The rest of those guys I've never heard of either. I used to be pretty big into Texas Country but as I've gotten older it's hard to keep up with it like I used to. But all in all, for a music fest for a college, that's a pretty good lineup.

I'll go out on a limb and say there are comparable parties at every big SEC school. But, as we all know, everyone usually likes their own flavor.

Different strokes for different folks. I had a great time. IMO, Greek life makes a huge school a lot smaller and a lot easier to make friends and meet girls. For the most part, it's very convenient having parties and events planned for you.

I paid for parties. I got to choose where I joined based on who I cared to be friends with. But I'm glad you have an open mind about things you weren't involved with. BTW, it was a lot cheaper to pay dues and live in the house than pay for off campus housing, but I'm sure you already knew that

As the treasurer I literally paid for the parties. Talk about inmates running the asylum. One of the best preps for the real world that I'd never ever want to have again.
