Honestly I think Kiffin needs to stay right where he is. He has Ole Miss knocking on doors.

Before doesn’t matter.. college football doesn’t look like it did 5 years ago.

Kiff knows that. Florida hasn’t adapted.

Kiff can go wherever he wants minus a handful of jobs.

Not many will give him everything he wants, AD that works with him, and a place his kids want to be.

Mature LK stays until something changes.

Kiffin is maxed out on pay where Florida can’t afford him. It would take 11M plus for a dude who hasn’t won anything significant to leave his current situation. Gus could do well and they would get him cheaper. Drink isn’t leaving mizzou imo.

When lane figures out this year that even with a loaded team, he’s still outmatched by Texas, Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, etc he’ll start looking around for more resources
If he can’t do it with a loaded roster this year then why would a loaded roster in a different location be any different?

Are there any Offensive minded coaches with ties to Florida in CFB that are coming up the coaching ranks? Not trolling I honestly don't know, just seems like with so many past great players there'd be one. I'm kinda surprised Tebow never got into coaching even if he didn't do the X's and O's he'd be a great coach. Seems like he'd be a great recruiter in the state of Florida.

Malzahn is not good enough.

The others are.

Drinkwitz? Hmmm. Naw. He'll stay. He would be an idiot if he did.

Totally agree. Mizzou is a stepping stone if I’ve ever seen one

How much does kiffin have to fail before people stop claiming he's a good coach?

Just stop it already.

Congrats to Eli Drinkwitz for moving up in the coaching world and getting his name dropped for these jobs! If he is on a list with Malzahn and Kiffin he has arrived.

Why isn't Heupel on the list if he is so great?

Anyway, at this point I think Florida should make Spurrier a consultant and let him find the next coach if it comes to that. He may be the only one down there that knows what he is doing.

Jedd Fisch fits that bill and will probably be the favorite for the job

Why would Lane or Drink leave cushy situations?

They will never get fired at Ole Miss or Mizzou. They can go 8-4 and coach there forever. They have proven they can win 10 or 11 games. They already make $9M a year. They each have really good NIL programs. Their respective admin/alumni are aligned. Drink runs the AD, and I'm sure Lane in in a similar situation.

Florida is a mess and they keep running off coaches quickly. That isn't a good recipe for attracting good coaches that have options.

Florida has only been successful with cutting edge coaches. When Spurrier was hired at uf he threw the ball 50% of the time when everyone else in the league was running 80% of the time. When urban was hired all I heard was his offense will never work in the sec. He won with his west coast version of the spread. Florida needs to find a guy who is doing something different and winning with it.
