1. Denial - They didn't even deserve to be in the game to begin with! It's all a BCS conspiracy. 
2. Anger - God damn it! frick this Third and Chavis bullshite! frick Miles, frick Saban!
3. Bargaining - We just had too many defensive losses. If we could just have kept all of our underclassmen from the NFL draft, we would have won this year.
4. Depression - Four in a row... another goddamn last-minute game-winning drive. An 8-5 season. tDecline is real.
5. We are one of the Top 5 teams in the country right now. Alabama is the best team in the country with the best coach in the country and the best players in the country. C'est la vie.

There isn't much to melt about when it's clear you just aren't as good. In 2011 I felt like we were the better team, and I wanted to believe that going into this one. Our lack of depth in our defensive front 7 and some of our young o linemen finally caught up to us and Bama did a great job of exposing both. It is what it is, but I'm not happy about it
