Fire and police but not EMS?

Because you know...the staff attorney has to review the email...then send it to the junior attorney to "research" and then his answer has to be sent back up the the staff attorney and then reviewed by the partner before sending it back and VOILA just like that all three guys got billable hours on the engagement.
You do realize that the junior attorney probably bills at half the rate of the partner? That $1800 would turn into $3000 if he did it himself.

put on your frickin mask on the bus!! sure, take it off all day at school with the exact same kids you're around all day on the bus, but you better frickin wear it on the bus!! in this school, we follow the science.
Pretty sure this is a state/federal issue.
Let’s go Brandon
Without Gilbert, Brennan, Emery, Stingley, Boutte, Ricks, or Gaye…

Can this LSU team beat ULM? It’s a foregone conclusion at this point we’re going 1-7 in SEC play, but do we finish 3-9 or 4-8?
The question was asked, how are the players reacting?
Posted by chilge1 on 10/11/21 at 1:14 pm
Let’s ask Stingley, Boutte, and Brennan.
This is a disaster if epic proportions. Transfer portal here we come.

I hope I’m wrong, but are you suggesting we start a walk-on QB in the teeth of SEC play to “save” Max and Nuss?
Asking would require them to monitor which students submitted negative tests, positive tests, or proof of vaccine and the date thereof and to differentiate between those 40,000 individuals and then to set up a tickler system for the alleged 10,000 people who haven’t been vaxed so that they receive notice every 30 days.
This would mean that someone would be required to individually inform 300+ students on a daily basis to submit a negative test. Does that sound like something Tate & Co. are capable of doing?

That said....all this white knighting for Les Miles on here is pretty dumb especially given what we know about Les now. I mean come on.
It’s not white knighting. It’s a recognition that 9-3/8-4 being the norm is a fireable offense at LSU. Take a look at O’s record outside of 2019.
And three columns are for three coaches for those wondering

His quarterback is Sam Darnold… it’d be stupid for him not to lean on McCaffrey

They are literally testing people’s shite for covid on a daily basis.
There’s going to be no circumstance where you see people lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States in Afghanistan.

He can't just kick you out.
He must go through formal eviction procedures, the first of which is to give you five days notice. After that, he will have to file suit and wait for a court date. Given the recent hurricane, that could take a while.
At no point does he have the right to enter the premises and take your stuff -- a sheriff's deputy must do that.
If I were you, I'd just go to him and explain your situation. Then tell him that if he wants to kick you out, he will have to go through the formal eviction procedures. To avoid that, tell him that you would be willing to pay another months rent and will get out as soon as practicable given the fact that there has just been a natural disaster and getting movers, etc. may take a few weeks.
It's not like he'll be able to rent out the apartment given that there is no electricity and it's likely to be out for at least another 2-3 weeks.
Rules on Evictions
All of this. If he attempts to do otherwise, he’s staring down a wrongful eviction lawsuit.

Exactly. You just know that Alleva would try to recoup the money paid to O by making subpar assistant hires. Given how critical Aranda and Brady were this year, that would be devastating to future teams
Anyone else REALLY thankful for Woodward right now?

Can you imagine the offers Alleva would make to would-be replacements for Aranda and Brady while simultaneously negotiating a raise/extension for Coach O?
Who calls him Joey Football?
In any event . . . Root for Georgia today and Auburn in two weeks. The fewer one-loss teams out there the better.

Alabama beats LSU and goes on to lose to Florida in Atlanta. Alabama, LSU, and Florida each have one loss. Ohio State and Clemson remain undefeated. Or Ohio State drops one to Michigan if you prefer.
Discuss who gets in and why.

It is what it is. Alabama has 10 bye weeks in a season unless they get matched up with Florida or Georgia in the East rotation. That said, I don't think Saban would rest his QB and damage his Heisman chances if there wasn't smoke there.

You're criticizing the greatest offense LSU has ever had and perhaps the greatest quarterbacking performance CFB has ever seen. Burrow is completing 79% of his passes (the NCAA record is 76.7%) and you're complaining about drops.

LSU is one of only 7 teams in the country to score every time they get in the redzone. Going into the State game, we were scoring TDs 85% of the time. The offense is also in the Top 10 in third down percentage and Top 2 in completion percentage.
The defensive and kicking issues are well-documented. Cole Tracy was manna from heaven, but aside from him, we were one of the worst in the business in special teams two year ago. That said, Cade York is No.2 in the country among kickers in scoring. He had a bad day yesterday. It happens. Thankfully he pushed them through anyway. It could be way worse. Kansas's kicker directly cost them 9 points yesterday and ultimately the win against Texas.
