When you have a game plan like LSU that is so conceited to think that you are just going to line up and run right at their strength then your defense stays on the field the whole game because of 3 and outs the whole game and you get blown out. Watson is better than Harris and he makes plays when things break down and he is more accurate passing the ball by far. But they also did a lot better job of protecting him. If you compare Clemson's skilled players to LSU minus the QB position, LSU matches or really has more talent at the RB position, the WR position especially due to Clemson injuries and just as good at the TE position. And yet we were so much less productive against Bama because of game planning. Same as in the 21-0 debacle in New Orleans.
