The complex will occupy 5.5 acres at the southern border of the main medical center campus and comprise an 18-story academic building for the specialized engineering medicine program on which Texas A&M and Houston Methodist are partnering; a 19-story student housing building; and a 30-story medical office building. All three will tout the A&M logo.

it's the $75M 'project' that everyone's laughing at Aggy about.

Reminds me of the $300 million Science and Engineering Complex Alabama just completed a few years ago.

Student housing is way too nice now. They are going to finish the $150 million freshman women's dorm next to Bryant-Denny Stadium this year. It's basically a 5-star hotel.

We should have just built a dome on west campus and turned Kyle back into a track facility.

It’ll be in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Nineteen stories in the country’s fourth largest city is hardly colossal.

A life in a boring city like Houston is something I would never dream of having. Kinda reminds me of Dallas or Atlanta. Boring, lacks culture, and you never go there unless you’re heading to the airport or on business. But kudos if this a subtle brag thread. I will say that nobody is jealous of this at all. And nobody goes to Houston for vacation, so they can slap logos on those buildings all day long and nobody will notice.

Why do A&M fans brag about how rich their university is? It’s like admitting to having a rich uncle. You aren’t going to see any of the money.

Also, what does that money get you?
