The score of the game isn’t the national story.
I think those people are ignorant.
A) LSU WBB has been doing this for years.
B) It's fairly common for college athletes to remain in their locker rooms during the national anthem.
The fact that people are getting all worked up over something that happens all the time, and has been happening for years, is moronic.
I'm also not surprised that so many here (including yourself) are participating in that exercise.

The problem for LSU isn’t that I am participating. It is that Louisiana’s governor is. And it is now a national story.

A lot of things are "national stories."
The left majorly overinflates what happened on January 6 while completely ignoring the "mostly peaceful" riots during the summer of 2020.

Sidewalk, correct me if I am wrong or left someone out. But in one week and on a national stage Mulkey pissed off 1) liberals, 2) conservatives, 3) LGBQT people, 4) America first people, 5) LSU fans, and 6) the governor of Louisiana. Am I leaving anyone out?

There are always manipulators, grifters, and panderers, on both sides, that sway ignorant Americans who can't be bothered to think critically for themselves.
To be angry about the LSU women's basketball team remaining in the locker room during the national anthem, but also be fine with your favorite college football team doing the same thing, is the most blatant hypocrisy a person is capable of.

Some of the downvoters either didn't or can't read. OP seems to be asking a very good question..
I personally like Kim Mulkey and truly admire her She's legit one of the best coaches of all time who's unfortunately being put in a "no-win" situation.. She's ad heartbroken as everyone about the loss and now she's gotta deal with this woke garbage...

But she made a mistake in getting so bent out of shape about the Wapo story which was a complete and utter nothingburger. I mean, successful athletic coach is driven and tough to get along with. I’m shocked there’s gambling in Casablanca.
Most successful, driven, tough to get along with coaches are also OCD control freaks and that IMO is why she had such a cow, she couldn’t control the situation and the narrative.

Does your football team including saban say frick you to the national anthem? Are they America hating too? All because they don’t come out before the national anthem?
