I was told by your fanbase that Golding was an upgrade from Lane. Which is it?
It’s ok to turn it off sometimes bro

I heard Lane say he was on a group text with Kirby, Sark, and someone else last year. I’m sure Pete is on it now. They’re trolling everybody.

Fans need to remember that all these coaches know each other and are, for the most part, pretty good friends.
Except Dabo. From what I’ve heard, he is universally disliked in the coaching community.

I’ll bet you’re fun at parties.

No doubt. Pete seems like a good baw. There was probably some yin and yang between he and Lane that helped them be so successful, Kiffin seems like more of the aloof, boy genius type of personality where Pete seems more like a good ol' boy, not afraid to get dirty and work hard.

It’s weird, despite being the most hated man in college football, people who know Lane best seem to like him. Hell even Saban seems to genuinely like Lane, even though they seem like oil and water. A lot of the biggest talking heads in sports media have said they enjoy interacting with Kiffin more than most coaches. Their interactions with Kiffin on and off the record are pleasant and entertaining.
It’s almost like Lane purposely plays the part of the Heel like a wrestler because it’s good for the sport’s entertainment value

I find it funny as hell.

Lane certainly has his demons and definitely does things against the grain a lot but I’ve never gotten the impression he’s an a-hole to people. We all have and have had friends who make decisions we wouldn’t but they also are fun and pleasant to be around. There’s a reason fan bases tend to gravitate towards him so quickly once he’s hired

Hes been that way since he took over. I think he handled the whole situation better than most would. But if they really arent enemies off the field it wouldnt be that hard also. Isn't he living in lanes house or did I misunderstand that story

When you're making the type of money those two are, for literally coaching a game, while the real adults of the world go to jobs everyday that actually keep the world turning. Would you really care about some rivalry? I bet they both are checking their bank balances and laughing at both fanbases.

These dudes grow up talking shite their entire lives. They probably appreciate those that are good at it.
And yeah they are both laughing all the way to the bank.
I will give Ben Garrett credit for something. He said Lane knows how to roll like the WWE. Everyone either cheer or boo, the problem from a marketing standpoint is when there is silence towards you.
