Most painful way to go down? Probably...

The CFL came down hard on Regina product Josh Hagerty on Thursday, suspending the B.C. Lions defensive back for two games after he allegedly stuck a member of the Montreal Alouettes in the groin twice during their Week 15 matchup.

According to reporting by 3DownNation, Alouettes running back Liam Talbot received two blows to the groin during special teams play, neither of which was penalized by officials.

The damage from the blows was so severe that Talbot needed surgery that has been described as life-altering and will end his season.
