Under-promise, over-deliver.
A classic (and smart) gambit.

Brother this man opened up practice to the media this spring something he’s never done before. He was notorious for not giving access to media when he was at Ole Miss. but for some reason he opened up all of his practices so guys like Matt mascona could run his mouth about how the team isn’t as good as they thought it would be during portal season.

I'm expect LSU's fanbase will show the proper maturity and patience Lane Kiffin deserves.

There’s a very good chance LSU is knocked out of the playoffs by September. Clemson @Ole Miss A&M to open the season.

Tough to under promise when your the 3rd highest paid coach in the country and have the most expensive roster in the country

I was listening to Mcready talk about it today. Lane called him to talk about it and mcready was like “how many recruits did this happen with and who were the recruits” and lane wouldn’t answer the question (because it didn’t happen). What an arse clown.

The amount of time yall have to follow a coach so significantly is pretty admiring. I wish I had this much time in my hands. I can’t even keep up and I’m an LSU fan

McCready is also a doosh.

He is, but it doesn't mean he's bad at his job

But he is somewhat bad at his job.

I don't necessarily think so. He's not an Ole Miss fan so he gets heat since he works for the Ole Miss 247 site, but as a journalist hes good.

9 wins is the abolute ceiling.
6 wins is the floor.
My guess is 7 wins:
v Clemson W
v LTech W
@OlePiss L
v TAMU L
v McNeese W
@KY W
v MSU W
@Aub W
v ALA L
v Texas L
@ UT L
@ Arky W

That’s kinda what I mean. These fan sites aren’t journalism. And he treats it like it is. His job is to drive subs, and he’s bad at it. He’s openly antagonistic sometimes and it makes you scratch your head.

Yeah I’m sure the boosters paid $40 million for a rebuilding roster.
Lane and some other coaches are going to find out real quick patience doesn’t come with that kind of investment. Especially after watching Cignetti win a title at Indiana with considerably less

It’s really surprising to see Ole Miss fans flocking to this thread.
I was assured they have moved on and are better off.

So you acknowledge that LSU gave him more and better resources.
