Those defensive rankings aren't giving me hope for much SEC success in this tourny

At the moment, Alabama is considered to be on the 12 line according to Bracket Matrix.

If Bama goes 2/3 they'll likely be in.
I hope you guys beat the Cheaters.

57/53 KenPom and NET
Bama is teetering.
With USC tonight (can not lose) and LSU next.

Yeah, I am not implying we are a lock by any means.
The path is there though.

Need a road win tonight first.

Gonzaga and VOLS were way ahead of everyone in adjO up until recently.
Our defense has jumped 15 spots in a week which is encouraging

We have tons of Q1 wins and no bad losses in terms of RPI. No reason why OM doesnt get in if we reach 22 total wins after the SEC tournament. We will be a lower seed though, probably 11 or 10.

OM has no bad losses, and a few good/pretty good wins over state, AU (x2), and Baylor
1-4 finish probably gets us in, 2-2 definitely gets us in (especially if UK or TN is one of the 2 wins)

RPI is irrelevant. It’s all about the NET and KenPom (which the NET uses as a gauge of rankings).

Fair, but our wins and no bad losses hold up in KenPom and Net also.
Also helps that Joe Lunardi seems to like us.

Can somebody explain the love for Auburn? What's propping them up so much? Their SOS? They have 2 Q1 wins. No bad losses but not really any signature wins?

Efficiencies and maxing out the margin of victory on wins a lot. When Auburn wins they seemingly always win by 10+ (10 points is the cap). On top of that, when they win, and win big usually, their efficiencies are going to look great usually because they nail a ton of 3's when that happens and deflate teams quickly.

If Ole Miss wins vs Ark and Missouri we will be at 11 wins. If we can get 1 of the games between UTk and UK that’s extra. We don’t need them but they will lock us in. Right now we just need to worry about beating Ark and Missouri. The games vs Tenn and UK are free shots at home.

I already said we won't be in the field in 3 weeks. We suck.
But as of right now we are.

The Kentucky and Tennessee games are going to boost OM, win or lose. Rebs are in

I wonder how much weight will be given to Dickie V and other big timers this year speaking loudly, openly, publicly and often that the committee shouldn't put in any team with a .500 or lower record in their conference and start giving the smaller conference schools with great records an opportunity to get in and show that they are great as opposed to the mediocre major conference schools that people just hope may get hot again.
Before anything is said...it affects some SEC and Big 12 for sure and I'd love for Texas to be left out and some of our big donors to put together $12-15 million to get rid of Shaka Smart...he's the most worthless coach...I wouldn't let him coach a church league team.
