Why in hell were they in the tournament in the first place?

Are you aware of how the selection process works or do we need to get into that next?
We got smoked by arguably the best team in the country.
We hung with them for a half and then all hell broke loose and they couldn't miss from deep.
No reason to be embarrassed at all imo.

Alabama fans are nothing if not realistic. That is something most LSU fans can not comprehend. Reality here means debating whether LSU is the best except when being cheated by Alabama, or if they already are the GOAT held down only by Alabama and the SEC and NCAA offices, controlled by Alabama.
Actually it is pretty entertaining living down here amid the mud, squalor. Those of us who live here get to endure all the crap swept down by the current of three mighty rivers and deposited in heaps in a semi tropical climate to rot and stink, amid inhabitants who themselves have no concept of a country north of I-10.
The OP in this line is a prime example. But where would this board be without delusional and perpetually butt-hurt LSU fans?
