Auburn doesn’t play Auburn in Jordan Hare

I guess it depends on who you ask.
If it's Alabama (28–9–2 in Tiger Stadium, 5-10 at Jordan Hare), obviously they would say Jordan Hare is tougher.
If it's Texas A&M (3-1 at Jordan Hare, 10-30-1 in Baton Rouge) they'd likely say Tiger Stadium.
As far as atmosphere, I do think Tiger Stadium has declined in recent years, it might have grown too big and the fanbase has gotten spoiled and lazy. It often clears out a lot by the 4th quarter, there's no arguing that. But for true marquee matchups I'd say we still bring it pretty good.

My answer is obviously LSU, but I always tell my BIG XII friends, JH is the best place outside of LSU to watch an SEC matchup. Place was rocking in 2006 & 2010 for 2:30 games.
UGA vs LSU in 2013 was pretty raucous as well.

That is true, no doubt. It's also true that Bama doesn't have a winning record against LSU in Bryant-Denny and LSU has given them their worst beatings there ever.
I bet you can't prove that!
Haha...I was there when Gerry DiNardo beat Bama 27-0 and the Bama paper the next day said it was the worst margin of defeat in Bryant-Denny Stadium history (and the biggest previous loss there was by like 20 points or something). Then Saban also beat Bama by a score of 27-3 in the 2003 national title year (Shula kicked a FG in the 4th quarter just to avoid the shutout or it likely would have been another 27-0). But that appears to be the 2nd biggest loss they ever had at Bryant-Denny too. Bama hasn't gotten beaten badly there much at all.
As for the overall record in Bryant-Denny, that information can easily be found online.

I was there. It was epic.

I heard that Alleva's parking and concessions policies dampened pregame atmosphere as well as attendance

They do ? Interesting. I honestly did not know that. But you got to admit Saban and the Tide team and tide fans were terrified of tiger teams in 2019. Crimson tide football lost to Clemson, LSU and Auburn in 2019, got tigers on your mind eh

Now, parking, definitely. When I was younger, we used to be able to park on campus (closer), and there were 20k less seats (so less traffic and parking competition). It's considerably worse now. Exponentially so.

Easy answer. Bama owns Baton Rouge

Bigly. This is the real problem. They started this in 2011, and the decline was noticeable, immediate, and has only worsened since. My dad had season tickets for like 50 years and gave them up because parking got to be such a hassle.

Tiger Stadium is a nationally known iconic stadium and is so because visitors and opposing players and coaches have made it know what kind of a place Tiger Stadium is to visit and play in. Jordan Hare doesn’t come close to that kind of notoriety, a simple fact that settles this debate all by itself.
They're really pretty similar. Death Valley has somewhat more name recognition because it's got a cool name. The idea that TS has some nationwide name recognition or has iconic status just probably isn't true, at least compared with other historic venues.
Anyone connected with college football knows JH is one of the elite difficult places to play, just like DV. But some average girl or non-football fan who doesn't know about JH isn't going to go "oh yeah, tiger stadium!" It's just not that type of iconic.

A lot of the Death Valley mystique ironically roots back to the Earthquake Game of '88 in which they beat Auburn. I think had the earthquake game not happened, LSU's home stadium reputation would be no different than any other.
I mean let's examine the facts:
In the 1970s and 1980s, LSU had just three total wins in Tiger Stadium against opponents that would finish in the AP Top 10: #5 Auburn in 1972.... #9 Alabama in 1986.... and #8 Auburn in 1988 (Earthquake Game).
The '90s were a dreadful time for LSU football.... they had one lone win at home against a team that would finish in the AP Top 10: #4 Florida in 1997.
Since the 2000s, there have been some very big wins in Tiger Stadium.... but I would say LSU's inability to beat good Alabama and Florida teams in Baton Rouge has been the real theme of the last 20 years. Here is LSU's performance against Final AP Top 10 Alabama and Florida teams of the past 20 seasons inside Tiger Stadium:
2001 #3 Florida- LOSS
2008 #6 Alabama- LOSS
2009 #3 Florida- LOSS
2010 #10 Alabama- WIN
2012 #1 Alabama- LOSS
2014 #4 Alabama- LOSS
2016 #2 Alabama- LOSS
2018 #2 Alabama- LOSS
2019 #6 Florida- WIN
LSU just this past season got their first home win over a Top 9 ranked Alabama or Florida team this century. LSU's inability to beat its top rivals at home when everything on the line makes Tiger Stadium's reputation overrated IMO.
Going back to the OP.... Auburn loses some head scratchers from time to time, but when both Auburn and their opponent are ranked in the Top 10 and there is a big game inside Jordan-Hare, it almost always results in an Auburn win.... especially against their top rival. The same can not be said for LSU at home.

2004 was the first time we went undefeated at home since like 1972. I don't think that means it wasn't a tough place to play all those years, opposing players/coached said the opposite; but like a previous poster said, Auburn seems to feed off the crowd energy better. They've gotten blown out in Tuscaloosa and Athens more often than not recently it seems, crowd keeps them in the game at home

The weird thing about Auburn is they struggle against Georgia at home most years.... but they are exceptional against the rest of the Big 6 when they themselves have a good team.
Auburn's record against Final Top 25 opponents when Auburn also had a Top 25 finish, at home since 2000:
Against LSU: 5-0
Against Alabama: 4-0
Against Florida: 1-0
Against Tennessee: 1-0
Against Georgia: 3-3
In Top 25 matchups at home since 2000, Auburn is a perfect 11-0 against LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee. That's frankly amazing. Which is why I don't think this topic is even debatable.
LSU is more likely to have good teams so therefore they might have more big wins at home. Auburn has had some amazing seasons ('04, '10, '13) and some absolutely dreadful ones ('08, '12, '15) over the years..... but when Auburn has a good team, they are very difficult to beat in Jordan-Hare. Somehow only Georgia has success there.

As an Alabama fan. I just go ahead and spot AU 10 points everytime we play at JHS. I would do the same as an LSU fan. They seem to want it more when Alabama and LSU walk in that stadium more than any other team that comes in. They have some unexplainable losses there such as Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Mississippi State from time to time but maybe it's because those teams aren't highly ranked when they go there.
All I know is that AU is probably the most momentum team in all of college football

Been to JH several times and its loud no doubt. The fans are pretty chill with the exception of the occasional drunk frat rat douche nozzle.
I still enjoy the experience more in DV....buy my bias is prolly in play here.
