Been to DV 3 times - All losses of course for AU. It’s louder than anywhere at it’s peak.

AU has stood strong and kept a huge part of lower level dedicated to students...great move for noise and TV atmosphere. No students sit in the uppers - at least when I was there. I hope that doesn’t change.

When Auburn is good the place rocks and does consistently. I think our school colors are made to look great for a prime time telecast.

Our group really enjoys going to Auburn every other year. I like Jordan-Hare a lot. It and the campus have an old-school traditional feel to it that you can't find in many places.
For a long time it was hard for LSU to win there (and still is).

You are forgetting ONE thing. Even when LSU loses in Tiger Stadium (whether to highly ranked Alabama or Florida or WHOEVER you choose as an example), it is hardly EVER an easy win for the opposition.
LSU very rarely loses big at home. The 2018 loss to Alabama was the lone exception.
LSU has lost its share of home games, but it is very rare when an opponent wins in a rout in DV.

Alabama won big in DV in 2018, 2002, and 1996. But LSU was in many other games with Alabama in DV and actually gave the game away to those people in 1998, 2008, 2012, and 2014. We beat them in BR in 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2010. Two of those were decisive wins for LSU.

Ole Miss waxed us pretty good in DV in 2008 and 1997. You have to go back to the 60s for other bad losses to OM.

Florida beat us bad in 2001 and 1993 in DV.

Auburn beat us bad in 1999 in DV.

But some average girl or non-football fan who doesn't know about JH isn't going to go "oh yeah, tiger stadium!" It's just not that type of iconic.

Sports fans in the north or west who aren’t big into college sports know Tiger Stadium. They don’t know Jordan Hare.

That’s just a fact, regardless of whether or not you want to believe it.

As an Alabama fan. I just go ahead and spot AU 10 points everytime we play at JHS. I would do the same as an LSU fan. They seem to want it more when Alabama and LSU walk in that stadium more than any other team that comes in. They have some unexplainable losses there such as Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Mississippi State from time to time but maybe it's because those teams aren't highly ranked when they go there.

All I know is that AU is probably the most momentum team in all of college football

I agree with this to a point, but it’s not just the determination and ability that wins them these games.

You as an Alabama fan of all people should know Auburn is the luckiest team in all of CFB in big games at home. They get every fluke bounce, just about every call, and any other intangible that can go their way does in that stadium. It’s some real voodoo.

I've never been to LSU, but I can say without hesitation that if a big game is on the line in the final seconds... Y'all may be closer to NOLA, but I'll take the Jordan-Hare voodoo every time

They're really pretty similar. Death Valley has somewhat more name recognition because it's got a cool name. The idea that TS has some nationwide name recognition or has iconic status just probably isn't true, at least compared with other historic venues.

Look, I'm just going to point out-

every nationally televised night game at LSU, the stadium's reputation is a topic. Not just the team, but the "Saturday Night in Death Valley" atmosphere. One of the announcers or sideline reporters will do a little presentation on it, and invariably segue into a discussion on the tailgating.

It's iconic whether you like it or not. That doesn't demean other stadiums or crowds.

Hell, the Superdome is loud as hell for the Saints, but it doesn't get the same love as, say, Lambeau. Lambeau Field is THE iconic NFL stadium.
LSU with Tiger Stadium is right there for college locales.

AU has great fans and a great atmosphere. But LSU has won 4 of its last 6 games played at Jordan Hare. JH cannot be that great a home advantage if LSU is 4-2 there in our last 6 games.

Pretty much as widely a known stadium as there is in the country and widely regarded as one of the most iconic stadiums in the country in national publications. Some examples;

Rankings like these are always subjective, but the frequency with which Tiger Stadium is mentioned in most listings, and usually near the top of the list, pretty much establishes that it is one of the iconic and best known college stadiums in the country.

You might want to recheck the stats. You won in Auburn in 2018, 2012, 2008 and 1998. That's 4 wins in the last 22 years....you have 5 total wins in Auburn since we started playing you guys annually in 1992. Not exactly stellar!
Bryant-Denny has been much more friendly to the Bengal Tigers than Jordan-Hare- 8 wins there in the same time frame compared to 5 in Auburn!

LSU can’t beat Bama at home. What’s your point?

Not really, considering someone called it iconic in trying to differentiate it from JH

But sweet deflection
