Just imagine the response from Black Bear fans this time last year had you told them that Lane Kiffin would willingly leave them amidst a playoff run for the once in a lifetime opportunity to be the HC at LSU
Such a proud fanbase for such a stepping stone program

Why are you guys doing this to yourselves?

I actually predicted this. And we've never been black bears.

Ole Miss has zero natties. None of those claimed are from the recognized polls of their day the AP and The Coaches poll...

That was a woke cartoon character that our leftist Chancellor at the time forced on us. We were never the black bears.

only like 5 coaches in SEC history are definitively better than Vaught
Who would be the five that were "definitively" better than Vaught?
SEC Titles
1. Bear Bryant - 13
2. Nick Saban - 11
T3. Johnny Vaught, Steve Spurrier, Vince Dooley - 6
6. Robert Neyland - 5
7. Kirby Smart - 4
National Titles
1. Nick Saban - 7
2. Bear Bryant - 6
3. Robert Neyland - 4*
4. Johnny Vaught - 3*
5. Kirby Smart - 2
6. Steve Spurrier - 1
7. Vince Dooley - 1
The only ones that would be "definitively" better would be Bryant and Saban. An argument could be made for Neyland and Dooley, but no way is Vaught not in the top 5.

No, Neyland is definitely better than Vaught. I think Spurrier and Kirby probably are too. Vaught and Dooley fight for the next spots

Great man...
I was in the first wave to live in Vaught Hall...

Yet Kiffin matched Vaught's number of 10 win season in only 6 years.
Vaught had to go undefeated or, at most, lose 1 game to reach 10 wins for the entirety of his career.
Two of Kiffin's 10 win seasons included 3 losses.
Or more to the point:
In Kiffin's 6 years at Ole Miss, he lost 19 games.
From 1954 to 1963 (10 seasons), Vaught only lost 13.
Also, Vaught actually won the SEC a few times. Kiffin never has.

One. 1960.

100%
Accused, being the key word.
Still waiting on the proof of ban/racism though…
All because Nick Saban lost Brian Kelly

And yet Kiffin had a better record against final ranked teams.

Ole Miss will forever be known around the world as home of the KKK. No room to speak of racism.

Ahh.. Halloween night in Tiger Stadium with Billy Cannon 89 yard run and a 7-3 win. I was listening on a scratchy AM radio and wasn’t sure he scored until the announcer recovered. The crowd noise was unreal.
