A&M hired a coach that was running a program into the ground and the team was looking to get rid of soon. Then they turned around and did the same thing at hiring Bjork away from Ole Miss as AD.
It’s amazing to me that they couldn’t see that both of their hires were on the brink of getting fired but decided to be helpful in taking them instead. Saved FSU and Ole Miss A LOT of money

He wasn't going to get fired a week before Aggy hired him, but he was absolutely headed down that road. Taggart sucked, but he inherited the C-USA OL and empty QB room Jimbo left him. Had Jimbo stayed, they still would have been shite in 2018 and 2019. He may have ultimately fixed those issues, but he wasn't going to do it before his seat got really, really hot.
